This might be one of the best movie reactions I've seen! It's always fun, as someone who knows these movies/the books and other works around them deeply, to see what someone has to say when they don't know all that much about it. I love how much you were able to pick up on just from the foreshadowing and all that Boromir is one of my favourite characters in the book/movies. Like you saw, at first, yeah, there's every reason to be wary of his presence and the obvious allure the ring has over him. But deep down, he's a good man. Flawed, but a good man who doesn't hesitate to give his life to correct the mistake he made, and it hit me here seeing your reaction as the movie went on - suspicious, distrustful, and then forgiving him once he shows who he really is Can't wait to see your reactions to Towers and Return when I have some time to!

I think what Merle and Daryl were saying is that their father beat Merle (since he was the oldest) up until the time Merle left home (to escape the abuse and to keep from killing him). Their father then switched to abusing Daryl. Merle said he didn't know, but Daryl pointed out Merle should have realized he would start taking his anger out on Daryl once Merle was gone, because he'd done the same to Merle.

Not sure if anyone commented this or not, but apparently Axels story was originally going to be much darker, he was going to be a p*do and killer if i remember correctly. I think thats how he was in the comics, but with the governor stuff going on, having two stories like that wasnt what they wanted to do. There were hints that Axel was going to have the darker story when he was talking to Beth and being creepy.

@@NMDmovies Yes, the actor revealed a while back that Axel was originally supposed to seem harmless at first, and then later be revealed as a serial killer with tattoos all over his body. That's why he always wore his shirt buttoned up to the neck and had long sleeves, so viewers wouldn't see them until the big reveal. He was supposed to badly beat Carol and kill Beth in a pretty horrible way, but the writers decided to drop that storyline and have him stay a decent guy (and the comedic relief) instead.

Let’s go more walking dead. I don’t think Glenn was blaming Maggie for anything, he probably just felt “emasculated” because he couldn’t be there for her when that was happening. Damn rip axel I feel like he had the most potential out of all the prisoners I could have seen him becoming a dale like character. I am happy Merle came back too, we need the man power plus if he can be controlled him and Daryl would be an unstoppable duo.

In a deleted scene on KZfaq and on the DVD Lori’s ghost does become a Walker while he kisses her outside the prison fence Rick recoils in fright and she has a tear in her eyes Obviously haunting Rick’s mind that she was devoured But I guess they decided if he saw her as a Walker it would not make much sense for Rick to continue looking for her since she’d be a monster now and not his wife.

Maggie was angry because Glenn was acting like he was the one who went through it He made the anger at what happened to her all about him and how he felt Maggie clearly wanted to move on but he was focused on what happened and turned her into a victim and he wouldn’t let it go until she spoke about it Someone who goes through that shouldn’t be forced to talk about it unless they want to He forced her hand in a sense that’s why she pushed him away when he tried to console her She just wanted him to treat her normally this whole time and he wasn’t I’d have been angry too.
@AshLee924904 күн бұрын
A lot of people tend to be confused about the whole Glenn/Maggie is and why Maggie is so hostile towards Glenn. I appreciate you getting it and understanding right away. Glenn not only basically outted Maggie's sexual assault to Rick out of his anger last episode. Now, he's trying to go on some muder mission out of vengeance. Instead of being there for Maggie, he's making HER sexual assault about himself. He didn't want to know about what happened in that room to help Maggie get through it with his support. He wanted to know for himself and to fuel his own rage that's based on something that he already had in his head about what happened, even though Maggie already told him. He blames himself for failing to protect her...
@sunnygrl0274 күн бұрын
RIP Axel. I really liked him. 😢 I don't think Glenn blames Maggie one bit. Remember when he, Rick, and Hershel tried to get out of the bar? Shots were fired and Glenn hid behind the dumpster. He was mad at himself and told Maggie he only thought of himself. I don't think he's only thinking of himself in this situation, but I do believe he's mad at himself because he couldn't stop what happened to her. He's so blinded by his anger that he can't see that she's still processing what happened and isn't ready to talk about it yet. As for leaving the prison, I'd stay. First of all, I'm not letting some psycho run me out of my home. Periodt. You're exactly right - they have the home-field advantage at the prison. What good would it do for them to leave? It's not about them being in the prison, it's about the governor knowing they exist. If they leave he'll have scouts follow them and either take them out on the road or at the next place they hole up. Just like with the Nat'l Guard, he's not about to have another group competing with his leadership and what he has. He wants to be the only option for anyone seeking refuge. Good thinking ducking behind the desk during the skirmish. I'm so glad they didn't get you! 🤣🤣 LOVE your reactions!
@kimberlywilmoth91844 күн бұрын
No, Glenn is just too obsessed with the fact that Maggie might have or could have been raped. He's making it all about himself, which forces her to talk about it when she doesn't want to, so Maggie's upset with him.

Umm, they seemed to handle this attack pretty well considering that 1) it was a surprise attack, and 2) Rick was wandering around outside the prison in a whole hallucinogenic head fog the entire epiaode. If Glenn was running with a clear mind (which, under normal circumstances, he would have been), they would have faired even better. The problem wasn't because they needed Rick to follow. The problem was them being disjointed altogether. They been getting hit back to back for like several days in a row now. Tragedy upon tragedy. Also, others' leadership roles would be more developed if they were allowed some form of it, but Rick literally made it a dictatorship since the end of s2, and they've all have been living under it, so their say on things have been more or less moot until now. Like I said, all things considering, they did pretty well. It's literally only been a day...
@kimberlywilmoth91843 күн бұрын
@AshLee92490 Rick did his little dictator speech at the end of season 2, but he hasn't been acting like one. He still listens and talks to his group.
@AshLee924903 күн бұрын
@@kimberlywilmoth9184 He talks to the group, but it's mainly telling them what they're doing or going to be doing rather than asking them for suggestions or input. Sure, he's not doing it by being an asshole. It's more by motivating and encouraging than as a tyrant, but it's still the dynamic still being done...

In nearly every reaction video of this movie, the reacator says “why didn’t she tell him she has had a baby?” Because it was blindingly obvious. When she left his house after the night they had slept together, Forrest spent three years running all over the country trying to come to terms with losing his Jenny. It would have been difficult to pin him down. When she found out he had returned home after he appeared in a TV interview, she wrote to him from her home in Savannah.
