Bob Dylan's audio is from a radio show. Probably before playing "You Can't' Put Your Arms Around a Memory", a song he said he wished he had written.

Beautiful Soul EXTREMELY talented but was very off and ON! He lived at my place a bit when I was on Melrose and Vine. (Couldn't stand the splif smoking). Please just smoke grass! I had a giant record collection then , a WALL of RECORDS... For some reason I pulled out a Father Yod album kinda as a joke because I DIDN'T know. He said "Yeah, I know that dude". I'm sure some out there know THAT story. I will stop now. Miss you man. "New Sierras"

Saw them support The Cult at Friars in Aylesbury in November 1984. They were excellent! So good be able to see them from all those years ago. I have a few of their records on good old vinyl! Thanks for posting and the info.

@@ianheath4332 Great! Btw, the nice white guitar he played (was it a Gretch?), he later sold to local band Radiohead, who used it for years. And who in recent years put it up for sale, for a charity I think. Don't think it went to a Play Dead fan though!

I met Jerry and Johnny when they lived in Stockholm, Sweden. Healthwise, they were pretty ok back then, thanks to the methadone program they were on. Jammed with Johnny several times and he was a sweetheart. It was unreal for me, a young drummer who grew up on Iggy & The Stooges, New York Dolls and Ramones, playing New York Dolls and The Heartbreakers classics with the man, the myth, the legend. Clem Burke is such a class act, the way he speaks about The Heartbreakers...

I don't believe Jerry brought Nancy to London; she heard about the scene in London and followed the Heartbreakers over. Almost to the point of stalking Jerry from some accounts. Then she wanted to bag herself a Pistol; Johnny wouldn't play so she chose Sid instead.
