Changhee Lee Oh, I should clarify. Barenreiter has revised the Vocal Score of Bach's Christmas Oratorio (and other Vocal works like that too). They've simplified the Piano part down further so it's easier to play

Fantastic lecture! I follow a few other channels on historic improvisation and you are one of the best at articulating these concepts in a clear and practical manner. Would it be possible to get the slides you used for this lecture?

Upon a little easy theme may be, otherwise it's difficult, it would be instant music writing)

I’ve always thought that a fugue had to have a counter subject. This sounded a little like a chorale harmonization with modulations and episodes thrown in. Still you gave a clear explanation of how to improvise using a simple theme.

Thank you for this structural demonstration with a clear and simple theme. I have a much better understanding now when other videos left me unsatisfied.

Surprisingly effective and concise exposition. I feel like I gained musical IQ points listening to this. I felt there was more there than just fugues - maybe chorales, sonatas also. I especially liked the way you explained how to join each exposition.

I only know the basics of the basics of music theory so some of this was over my head. The final fugue sounded really good though.
