I have mixed emotions with wood, seeing massive slabs like you've shown is fantastic, but then I think of the living organism that had to die to produce it, especially when it was hundreds of years old. Anyway, thanks for sharing, it must be quite an experience walking through a place like that 👍

That's so fair, luckily a lot of the wood is salvaged so we're just turning dead trees into something that will last forever. So although it's sad to lose big beautiful trees, at least this prevents them from being put in a wood chipper
