I have been the victim of an Indian scammer who lives and works in the US very near where I live. I know who he is and all about him (he got a bit sloppy) but still cannot stop him. And he loves his wife and has beautiful children. Yet with no conscience whatsoever he steals over $4k from a disabled senior citizen (me) and runs away to his store back room when I go to confront him and try to reason with him. I cannot fit together the love of family etc with the complete lack of conscience for stealing repeatedly from someone. It makes no sense.
