Honestly, I felt like I’m 10 years too late. Never got into this show, because I steered clear away from it. Because there were the fanatic girls at my school who obsessed over it. But now look where I am? I’m digging this! Might think I’m watching the series if I can find it.

one of the most iconic introduction... the line "the name's sherlock holmes, and the address is 221B Baker Street" with that BGM always gives me chills... what a scene..

This is the most Genius Move Jim Moriarty played to let Sherlock think that He can't deduct Simplicity, like he explained everything on the rooftop he literally said "You're Boring Ordinary Sherlock"

Profitable insight. Problems for some actors and actresses are their inability to sob, weep or cry a lot of tears out. Business opportunity to sell AI 100% looks like real CGI visual effects app to auto add tears to the filmed scene according to the director’s liking, double checked by other trusted management and independently reviewed by anonymous group who don’t know the directors and management.

Instead of whatever thing they did in the last season. They should have this two solving case together 😢

The problem is that a person who can actually make broad inferential leaps from minimal information is not using deduction at all. House, MD, for example. He has a field of expertise and he has a strong mind, but his actual gift is an intuition. And this is an abstract way of saying he doesn't know how he knows. And this is how it feels to be able to pull an answer out of the air or strike the right note on a piano even if you aren't looking at it. It's how you fake, pivot, and leap without thinking, passing through and rising up between other basketball players to sink a shot. Deductive reasoning seems more proper and scientistic to a 18th Century mind than something like intuition, which is the operating principle behind either inductive or abductive reasoning. The mind either hands you a good end result or it doesn't, and success or failure alone is the measure of it.

Fun fact, Lara Pulver filmed this scene actually naked. It wouldve taken way longer to cut out the pasties and flesh colored thong she was originally going to wear so the director asked if she trusted him enough to film things in a way where nothing is exposed. Lara consented and they shot the scene with her completely nude.

It's really a spoiler to put in the title that he's Mycroft. The scene was definitely going out of its way to make viewers think he was Moriarty, only to do a twist at the end of the episode.

Guessing passwords has to be one of the most annoying TV/film tropes. No one ever has to guess a password with weird characters, no one runs into multifactor, no one has 3 attempt lockouts. I know this is old but this tv gag was running WELL past all this was introduced.

Sherlock was a good series, i wish they would have run a news ticker,or captioning on the bottom of the screen so i could understand what they were saying most of the time-yes i am thick, and american, but this one was rapid fire brit marble mouth...good series otherwise!
