Maybe some sealing wax (like used for letters in the old days) can be melted into the stamped letters, and the excess planed off with a sharp hand plane!?

Thank you kindly for showing the KZfaq world how to do a scrap wood cart out of scrap wood. Not a lot of videos showing how to do it this way ( at least the algorithm is not throwing these types of videos in my feed anyway). Everybody always starts with one or two sheets of plywood. Thabks again.

Sorry you can only call it a shillelagh if it’s made from blackthorn or Holly ☘️ other wise it’s just a stick.

Shillelaghs are Blackthorn. Considering you used a power sander you fucked about a lot. And defence against melon attack isn't a massive concern where I live. But try that shit in Brighouse and see what happens...

WHAT type wood is that 1x2" or 2x2" or 2x3"? I can't tell. This is fascinating. I am trying to draw this out to understand how you did this. THANK YOU!!! happy hanukkah!

Should try straighten the stick then go from there. Get a heating gun, then make a 3 sided box. Cut two holes holes in boards an use a car scissor jack an heat up where bends are an do 1/4 turn an then let wood cool before continuing to straighten

Engineers are smart. This was awesome! Appreciate the detail in the 2nd method, but im not engineering inclined, so better spring for the weight gauge. Do you know ... or have a trick for centering the belts on the pulleys? I just replaced my x axis belt and cant get the belt centered on the pulley and can’t remember how i got it centered the first time. Great video.

Nice but why didn't you started off with a thinner branch? And since you decided to use a thick branch why didn't you shaped it roughly using an hatchet? You really went down the hardest road lol.

What you should have done is she really good and then bigot into the shape we're to be straight and then let it Harden and you'll stay like that for a long long time that's what you should have done because did you have equipment Rican hook it up to something then heat it up then then stick it in his clap thing it and then clamping where everything is kind of rats perfectly straight that's what you should have done your sheleighly whatever you want to call it it looks okay

This is in my near future. I just recently bought a used 1000mm Xcarve. Everything is perfect except for the middle of the wasteboard sagging. One question I have, how to you line things out without the squares on the wasteboard?

I know this is an old video but I've been adjusting belt tension and v wheels off and on for months with no real fix to my y axis grinding up and down and ruining projects here and there. I watched this video and checked my pots and they were all set to like a half turn above the lowest cut off point. I ran a test cut and it runs like a brand new machine. Thanks!
