It was set in London but then they went on that bizarre travel trip to the United States to follow that silly werewolf plotline. That's when the series stumbled if you ask me. There aren't too many fans of the gothic who really want to see the old west.

Josh Hartnett was nommed for best actor after S2 and S3 by many critics groups. His versatility in PD is outstanding. I don’t see a weak performance in the whole cast but Hartnett and Green are brilliant. And the chemistry! 🔥
