I am Irish and lived in London for years and it’s true English people are very friendly most of them are very nice and welcoming to Irish people especially as most of them have a granny from cork . Sunday roast is really a Sunday lunch it’s a much earlier than in Ireland.I think England is very beautiful there are many pretty places it’s a lot nicer than it gets credit for .

There is indeed much fun to be had in Connemara. I came across an American wandering around with a set of golf clubs, a bit battered by the wind, who had got himself lost and turned up at my front porch. He praised the fresh air and the sea smells, and that he was glad of the countryside. i offered him free accommodation in my bothy for a small fee, at which he expressed interest, and in the end, he spent a weekend with me, tending to the sheep, grooming my donkey Rainbow and regailing my old woman with tales of Pennsylvania. And so in the end, what may have caused me to put my hand in my pocket had I asked Joseph Flanagan to do the honours, made a nice little contribution to my birthday party at the local. Such was a grand activity for the American, and should others be wishing to have similar amusement, I could only oblige them

My trip to Inis Mor had to be canceled because of high surf, during June of 2022. Had I known about air service that might have been another option, but given the weather was very rough, I probably couldn't have had as nice of a time as you. I hope the weather will be better on my return during the summer of 2025. Great video, thanks for all the great ideas. Cheers.

The English and Irish people are very similar to each other, a lot of marriages happen between the two. Sadly, it is the establishment that tries to divide the English and Irish people.

American here who's been to both countries. While both are lovely in their own way I have to say Irish were pretty distant and chilly (tribal even?) compared to the English. (I was pretty shocked with how rude downtown Dubliners are around Trinity College though! Is that normal?) That being said outside of Dublin Irish are fine but as an American I felt more connected to the Brits personality as they were more warm and open right out the gate where as Irish seem to need to be drawn out.

Thanks I got quite a bit out of this. I'm converting a micro camper soon too and for the toilet I'm going with the thetford 145, it's only about 33cm tall so it fits under the bed, and a nice thing is it's small enough that the waste container part fits in a tote so you can carry it in to any public toilet and empty it in there.

You have a lovely accent btw If you go back to england just ask me anything you need to know about england or scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🤝🇮🇪

My mother came from Carrick on Suir Co Tipp. I use to go there as a kid, but by the time l reached 11 years old the peoples attitude changed towards me. I grew up anti the Irish for their prejudice towards me. I never admit now that l have Irish blood and don't go there anymore. I have nothing to do with my cousins. I do understand why the Irish dislike the English but l'm not responsible for the things people did hundreds of years ago.

@@Tinyboots_travels I get it, I had similar experiences when I moved to the south of England from the North. If I ever admitted that I believe the southerners were actually more friendly (once you got to know them) than northerners, I’d be ostracised by my family and friends from the North.

I just watched my first video of this content creator, and I liked it! Right before watching it, I watched another video from the same region, and this was mostly filmed by a drone. This one is down to earth and also I find the woman realisticly describing her trip. It's fun to see a small airport like this 🙂 I wonder if "The wormhole" initially was there? Clearly some humans have been doing some work there, for example the stairs out of the wormhole. It seems fun, but I doubt I would jump into it.
