although the national guard were mostly perceived to be evil among the island, they were definitely pivotal in making peace on the island. they just took on some people that grossly overestimated the threats posed by the civilian factions for their own benefits. not to say that i wouldnt do the same as them if i were to be in that position but the fact is, an extension of the military just shouldnt act on a whim like that. no operation conducted by the ng other than the final battle was even close to success due to lack of civil discipline, patience and clear communications. honestly as another institution of the government they shouldve immediately made contact with the local authorities (ie the mayor and by extension the beacon faction) but i guess louis as the leader and as a soldier, could only think like a soldier. and with no higher command the ng was bound to fall into indiscipline and paranoia. still i aligned mostly with the ng due to the fact that some other factions actions went completely unpunished (ahem ahem gg). but somehow the ng still managed to both massively doubt their own capabilities where they were in fact far superior compared to everyone else (combat) and massively overestimated their capabilities in other regards (intelligence, authority and outreach in general). their faction shouldve has very clear and harsh judicial systems in place as per comes with being a military installation. these punishments shouldve been also publicly broadcasted to give credence to their moral compass. otherwise it sounds like absolute crap when your reporter praises you about unfulfilled duties of law and order. plus although louis was adept tactically, he had no diplomatic patience, jumped the gun, started an all-out war and wiped out most of his own fellow countrymen in doing so. which is why it was not so convincing when the ng claimed to be a legitimate military force in defence of the people.

It's easy to view the National Guard as the antagonists but in the beginning they were taking people in after Silly nation and Girl gang literally booted them from their homes at gunpoint lol

I honestly wished the National Gaurd won. But this video was top-notch, constantly keeping me on edge and overall just entertaining to watch.

I find it funny how each factions had motives to their actions, and reasons for their wrongdoings, but girlgang's motives were "oily skin".

both sides did a lot of dirty stuff, but in the end of it all, if you bite the hand that feeds (ESPECIALLY IF IT'S SCHOOL LUNCH FOOD) you're automatically the absolute scum of the earth (not the actual people behind the characters, they all did such an amazing job at acting out their characters, and I love them all for that) 10/10 video
