I wonder if he thought the rule of two was only until the Sith “won” then it wouldn’t matter? The inquisitors sort of fill that role too. Not really Sith as much as dark Jedi though.

Just another reason why the sequel movies are trash
@AdrianBalogh9 күн бұрын
Actually, collisions can occur in hyperspace. Han literally explains this to Luke in A New Hope: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oMB6ldV1sN7SaZc.html As for why the Rebels didn't use that in RotJ: because it would be an insane waste of resources and people? Whereas the ship in TLJ had only Holdo aboard and was going to be destroyed eventually. However, there IS an inconsistency within the sequels: collisions can occur at hyperspeed, so how did Han go to hyperspeed with the Falcon from within his scavenger ship's hanger? 😅

In defence of the sequels and, I guess, disney bending canon. Nobody said technology has to stay stagnant at all times. The clone warscand the civil war could have brought about many advancements not present in previous times, like someone finding a way to survive lightsabers during the clone wars because too many people were dying from stabs or someone messing around with hyperspace to troll the imperial remnant. Just a little reminder: Episodes 1 and 2 are 10 years apart. Episodes 1 and 3 are 13 years apart. Episodes 1 and 4 are 32 years apart. Episodes 1 and 5/6 are 3X years apart. Episodes 1 and 7/8 are 6X years apart. And so on... The timeline gets very blurry with the whole 0BBY nonsence (there is no 0BCE), so I couldnt give any proper data for anything after Yavin.

People still nit picking this years after it came out man, just enjoy the movies or don’t watch them, I don’t get the constant hate people give to the sequels, yeah they weren’t the best but they were still movies, meant to be enjoyed.
@Auvas_Damask9 күн бұрын
The sequels simply destroy the logic of the previous movies, that's why we hate them and that's why we talk about them so that it doesn't happen again.
@batdude43399 күн бұрын
Star Wars was never built on logic or solid writing though. It was built on a fairy tail and expectations were raised much higher than the quality could provide. I remember the same hate for the prequels which are now loved. They are great movies, thats all.
@noahhansen63049 күн бұрын
@@Auvas_Damask how so? Cause as we have seen in clone wars the show, which in my opinion is the best show they have released, close second is rebels, but in clone wars they use hyper speed to escape all the time, and if you are referring to Rey she has read all the texts of the Jedi as yoda said in the last Jedi “there is nothing in there that the girl doesn’t already posses”

I have to say those scenes of the Death Star "blowing up the city" on Jedha is some of the coolest shit that managed to come out of DISNEY Star Wars. Its one of the few glimpses of awesomeness in an ocean over otherwise bantha puudu. It looks like the Castle Bravo 15 megaton blast except its about 100,000 times more destructive, blasting a hole deep into the planets mantle and just absolute unimaginable upheaval from the shattering of a continent. Just imagine if they had bothered to use the Expanded Universe to make things right we could have seen something like the Sun Crusher obliterating an entire solar system, or the prototype skeleton of the Death Star being swallowed by the Maw Cluster around Kessel after having destroyed its moon, or something like a Super Star Destroyer lifting off from being buried on the surface of Coruscant, for ***** sake the entirely of the comic book series about the cloned Emperors attempted return to power and the World Devastators wreaking havoc damn it all DISNEY SUCKS!!!!!!

You mean in ESB, right? In New Hope, they did indeed use the hyperdrive to escape a couple times, but once he indicated that it took time to get the coordinates from the computer and the second time was escaping the Death Star after the tractor beam was disabled. At least, if memory serves me.

I like to think Han discovered he could come out of hyperspace to bypass enemy shields, by chance. Something only his ship could do because of Lando’s droid being part of the Millennium Falcon. Like doing the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs. As for using ships as hyperspace missiles, that’s pretty lame in my opinion. It’s probably what would happen, but it’s still a lame way to fight.

Maul was the closest thing Palpatine had to a son. Dooku was just a Jedi he managed to corrupt, manipulate and eventually dispose of. Anakin was a tool he planned to use against surviving Jedi after the end of the Clone Wars, and he dumped Vader the minute he had a better prospect in Luke.
