What aluminum cross bracing did you use to fasten solar panels to? Thanks in advance.

We used Ironridge mounting system. It’s not the cheapest but very convenient and reliable. Thank you for finding our video and commenting!

We should, shouldn’t we!? Hopefully someday we get to the project again. 😊The material we used was pretty pricey and it was a bit too stiff for this project. It definitely looks great though. Thank you for your comment.

If your electric motor keeps tripping you can easily replace it with a combustion motor from harbor freight. Way more reliable.

I have thought about doing that. I am trying to get a different motor. I will put a video about it out as soon as I do.

One of the techniques that I thought of using for the block curing process was to install hot water solar panels to a wood kiln - the ability to cure the block under moist conditions increases the psi due to slow hydration . It is something that I would like to try to accomplish for the block to our well house. Just a small test project.

Hi thank you for finding our video and commenting! It was approximately $22k. This doesn’t include a holding tank or pressure tank but includes a submersible water pump and well head. Back in 2021, to drill a well it was $34/ft and our well is 434ft. Hope this helps! Have a good day!

That my friend is a loaded question. For the sake of simplicity labor, parts, insurance, and taxes are all higher here. Not to mention the red tape it takes to open a manufacturing facility.

Seems like there are so many methods in building a reciprocal roof, however no one speaks about how the roof is leveled when log is being placed on top of log which seems to create different levels on the roof, how do you obtain level across the roof in order to install the decking?
@leeslivingoutofthenorm
@leeslivingoutofthenorm 2 ай бұрын
The way that we did it is we leveled the top of the wall and then we use the hex ring in the middle to level it as well and then placed each board around the ring at the same height. Not exactly scientific but the best method that we could come up with. Thank you for finding our video and commenting!
