However, I have done a lot of different videos for Asian dining. However, you bring up some really terrific points, and I pride myself on being culturally, competent, (please check out some of the videos we posted about being culturally aware). Across many parts of Africa and parts of the subcontinent and other areas, it is customary to use your hands to eat. I’d love to make a video about this, but meanwhile, broadly speaking, to be proper, when using your hands to eat rice, you use three fingers to eat; index, middle and ring finger. However, that can vary, depending on the area, and local customs. Thank you for such a great comment. I need to make some videos that cover this topic. And it’s usually a lot easier to eat off the side of that, they’re usually way too big to even think about putting them straight into your mouth, which, Dining at the highest levels, is considered, poor form. I remember being a little girl, and my mother making my two younger sisters, and I bring soup all the way up to our mouse, and of course we drip things all over, but we were learning. And in the end, doing things properly, became second nature, and easy to do. But of course, be reasonable, and remember, what I teach is when you were dining at the highest circles. But if you’re dining, informally, or at home with family and friends, do you! But, I do subscribe to the school of thought that says if you practice your manners all the time, you will use them no matter where you are or what the circumstance. However, if you’re at home with family and friends, then the Penne the way you find easiest. But, if you’re out at a restaurant, try to avoid sliding the tubes onto the times of the fork.
