Aw! Life is so beautiful there!!!!! Sigh! The only thing I don't like about Ollie is when he leaves. Glad he gave you a hand, specially with the green house. That birch tree is awesome!!! Love trees so much! The chickens have become like a soap opera to me. I have got to see how they are doing. Whittie has a bf but she stills loves you. She thought she could keep you only for herself. That was cute how she came running towards you. The flowers are the cherry on the pie. Very lovely cabin(s)!

I always introduce new chickens to my established flocks after dark. I've never had a problem. I just introduced sixteen, nine week old chicks with success.

Just figured out who Ollie reminds me of… his voice especially, the actor Matt Smith. On another topic, could you share the brand of drafting pen you are using to draw?

I'd bet those beech sprouts are suckers from the roots of that older beech tree. You will likely end up fighting the even more vigorous resprouts under the greenhouse so be vigilant.

Well done Martijn it's been a lovely journey with you these past 2.5 years. I really love the interior stone work especially around the oven. I am looking forward to you planting the green house in the future and maybe a small vineyard and make your own wine in the future. I know it's your taste but the only thing l am not keen on is your oval mirror downstairs. I am glad you have finished it am l am personally looking forward to you building the workshop and garage in the future only when you get planning permission granted which always takes time. The fencing around the border will hopefully keep certain dogs from your chickens and give you a little privacy too. Well done THANK YOU for all your hard work and an even bigger THANK YOU to all the volunteers that have helped you along the way in completing it. I also really like your neighbour and priest and although l am not religious myself my wife is and l hope his channel succeeds in the future please send kindest regards to him.

This was a beautiful chapter. Loved the experiment! Also the chickens being together was very satisfying. It's so nice to see you enjoying yourself with friends. Martijn, do you know the birds that live with you there? I would love to know the species; perhaps you could tell us when you figure it out. FYI: In Ithaca, New York, USA, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology has one program to download on your phone called Merlin ID. It identifies birds in your region by sound. Another program is called eBird; data can be entered there which helps with the research Cornell is using for tracking migrations and conservation programs. It's worth checking out, especially if one is concerned about the loss of birds around the world due to the climate crisis. Extinction has been happening more quickly than we can imagine. However, back to your channel! It thrills me to watch it. It's awesome your family will be visiting and helping out.

I HAD to watch again today!!! I LOVE how the trees will be a canopy near the greenhouse!!! Endearing-whistle as you work. Gives a warm touch to the measuring… My Oma used to whistle as she cleaned the dishes. It was so comforting. The cicada bugs are over the top all OVER here in Tennessee! My favorite part of this video was watching you place the flowers into your hand made planters! They looked so cool, I had to take a few pictures and post them to share with my friends ♥️🥰 Exciting to have your family visit next week! Blessings, Angie
