Tony Fisher RIP first knew him at Greenfields Junior School, 1975 (later named Westfield) last saw him in person at a school reunion that I organised in 2002. Sorry to hear belatedly of his death

I've only just found out about Tony's untimely death. I first knew him at junior school in Portsmouth and he attended a reunion at Westfield Middle School which I organised in summer 2002. I wasn't fully aware at the time of his deep passion for Fulham FC. Now and again I tried to find out if he was still around for a possible reunion in 2027, 50 years after leaving that junior school, but now know he's died. Sad loss!

The nice lady got the 70,000 believe it or not comment very wrong there’s never been that many at Fulham for a home game.

Tony Khan is shit. He doesn't know anything about football, was never a coach, scout, anything. How is he director of football of Fulham???? Ridiculous. Appoint some proper football man who can do something good. Bad management is killing this club. Fulham fans don't deserve this. Fulham have a very big and loyal fanbase. They deserve much much better.

RIP. I sort of new Tony as we had season tickets and he sat behind us in the Johnny Haynes stand. Then he moved over to the Riverside stand. He was a top bloke. My dad and I came up from the Basingstoke area to watch the games. But I am sad to say to do not really follow Fulham as much as moved to Cornwall now living g in the Philippines. I became a fan of Fulham FC as I lived near the grown for a bit in the late 90’s. But my heart will always belong to Fulham FC.

Thank you for posting that lovely tribute to Tony. My family have been Fulham fans for over a hundred years, and maybe that has made us a bit pessimistic, but,on the other hand , always optimistic. Tony was the optimist in flesh and blood. Whenever I felt things were going badly, his positive attitude would remind me that hope springs eternal. Like my own dad he passed too early, but the spirit lives on. Rest in peace Tony.

RIP Tony ; what a wonderful tribute to such a humble person and such a man of faith. Will never forget watching this channel when he spoke about opening the hotel to the homeless during COVID. Really made me realise you don’t know people at all. Greetings from Melbourne and condolences to your family but you can see your light shining on through them. He would be so proud of you. COYW.

How wonderful to be so well thought of. I've been a Fulham supporter for 50 years now, though nowhere nearly as commited or involved with the club as Tony was. His memory will live on in our club, long, long after his passing. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace Tony.

Marvellous tribute to a marvellous man. I didn't know Tony personally but knew him to see as a fixture at away matches. You, as his son, are like his mini me as I noticed a number of years ago at an away match. Therefore, Tony will live on through you and hopefully we can meet someday and I'll buy you a pint if you drink. RIP Tony
