What happens to the balance of it when you then put a club head on it? Is it still in flow? Doubt it. Why not try it when the club head is on? I don’t see any science here.

I agree completely about putting the softest bending axis of the shaft (the spine) in line with the target line when finding the FLO. Often/usually the FLO will be relatively close to the axis of the spine. There is another advantage in doing this. Having the softest flex axis near the target direction when assembling the club will mean the axis that bends much less will be perpendicular to the target line. That will mean the shaft bends down less and, therefore, the club head droops less at impact, making solid contact easier. I do one thing different than what you show. I use the actual club head jammed on to the shaft with a small piece of rubber band to hold it there. I FLO the shaft that way since it duplicates the center of gravity of the head being away from the center of the shaft. Obviously I turn the head so it starts with the clubface facing the same direction as the mark on the tape and I keep adjusting the head position slightly when turning the shaft in the vise until the shaft oscillates in a straight line. The club face needs to keep being adjusted to face perpendicular to the line of twang. Once I find the FLO axis I mark the tape with a different color line, but on the FLO axis (9 o'clock). When assimbling the club I put the second color line facing the target which is the straight line FLO axis. It is just a different way to get to the same result.

When talking about FLO and Spine, we need to be discussing Natural Bend Plane. It’s the most important vocab word here, and I didn’t hear it once. Are you placing the spine generally in the 12 or 6 position? 6 being ideal imo. And then placing the FLO’d NBP in the 9 position (9 to 3)?

So adjustable hosel driver shafts should be flowed to neutral setting? Is it possible to check flow with the adapt4r in place?

What about adjusting bias in race after tires warm up. Sometimes fixed setups limit to 60. I’ve lowered it below 60 as tires heat up using in car adjustments. Keep it in mind.

Iiterally the first seconds of the video. OK, with offset do I want the wheel dead center mid-corner? I use some track guides and 16 to 1 -12 at Iowa is a good example. Why is that a decent ratio and feel? I can't visualize what my wheels are doing mid corner. I constantly tend to burn off the RF and I can't drive off the RR on purpose. When I do accidentally run off the RR I am fast. Sorry for the long comment but I am tired of just hanging on during the races and just finishing on the lead lap top split. My IR is 2100-2600 so in 87s,Gen4, and Arca it is very tough.

my wheel is way to strong afte rusing this. i now have my strength in the control panel of the wheel at 60% and did the auto function igname again. now its way way better

thanks for the video but my problem is I created an ai roster in trading paints and when I do an AI single race the paints all show up fine, however, when I host a race the ai cars do not assume the paints I created. I assume the video addresses issues when the paints dont show up in a local AI single race. Any suggestions?

Hey man so I got the ai rosters and my schemes to work just fine but I’m having an issue with creating a crust on roster, why is it that you have .tga on your files but mine come out as one singular file that’s a “json” file instead any help? Edit: I even used a converter and all it did was take the json text file and turn into a tga paint scheme lol Edit edit: got it all figured out!

i’m having a strange problem - i’ve had no issues for over a year with TP but all the sudden it won’t display certian cars - it keeps reverting to the old paint and no matter how many times i uninstall and reinstall - it downloads the paints, shows them correctly in the UI only after you’ve hit the “paint car” button but not in the list or in game?

So I have a very interesting problem, whenever I'm doing public races with other people everyone's schemes get mixed, like I'll be running a mustang and some random guys Toyota scheme is loaded on to my car, and everyone else's schemes are all screwed up and mixed too, so I can't tell who is who, even the name banners get messed up. I tried installing and reinstalling already. Idk what to do. It's really annoying.

Nothing is working for me. I tried using a pre-made roster and even made my own like the video. Everything is favorited and AI-enabled, and I've refreshed and restarted iRacing and my computer countless times. Trading Paints just sits there. It doesn't download anything, my files won't update, and the only AI roster I have is one that I made in iRacing UI. I'm completely stuck here.
