My 2000 Honda accord lasted me more than 250000 miles! I actually cried at the body shop when they said the blown head gasket would cost more than the cars worth

Its easy, do not participate in the everlasting gospel as described by john the Revelator in the book of revelations. The Holy Robes of the priesthood are only for those that want to be resurrected in the morning of the first resurrection.

Worst vehicle I ever owned was a Cadillac SRX. Drove a ford for 10 years with almost no issues, now driving a KIA sportage SX Prestige hybrid- probably the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Bought my first new car in 1975

The best way to avoid automatic transmission failures is to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

American cars are a rare sight in Europe. No one really wants to buy them because of their size and lack of realiability . We have small streets no matter if it is in capitals or cities and towns. We have of course highways etc.

Everyone loves Toyota but I bought a new Camry in 2009 only to find the 2008-2013 Camrys assembled in Kentucky had a high rate of defective piston rings. Toyota should have made good to their buyers but they didn't. At about 125k miles mine began to have tons of problems. Now at 142k miles I have to add a quart of oil every other fill up. All of the oil passing through the exhaust damaged the exhaust system so I had to replace all the hoses and pumps and the catalytic converter recently. Moreover, in the last 15k miles I had to replace the front axles, ABS brake system, alternator and more. I still prefer Japanese cars to American or European, but Japanese cars are not perfect.

The 2024 Honda Passport still has the 9 speed transmission which when it was in the Pilot initiated a class action lawsuit against Honda. Hopefully next year that will change to the 10 speed trans which is currently in the Honda Pilot. However, I heard a rumor they are going to change the v6 engine to a v4 turbo too, which means better fuel efficiency and more power but less reliability and higher repair costs.

I'm still driving my 2004 red Honda Accord EX. It's got 225k miles on it. One owner. I bought it brand new off the lot with 80 miles on it. Sticker price was $28k, I paid $20,850. I'm finally shopping for a new Honda Accord because the front passenger door doesn't open from the inside anymore, only the driver's side window works, the rear lights on the back of the car all stopped working, the sound system dashboard isn't visible anymore, the electronic key fob no longer works, and there's electrical issues throughout the car. But it's got 4 tires and starts most of the time... 😋 I estimate that I've saved AT LEAST $150k by running that car into the ground, and not buying a new one. I think it's time to retire the beauty. I guess I got my money's worth. 😂

I would highly recommend again the 05-09 Subaru Legacy GT Limited. I had one of these bought new off the dealer lot and it grenaded two automatic transmissions and had tons of other expensive issues not to mention that it sounded like a 2 dollar rattle trap driving down the road. My first and last Subaru. Run away.

@theSuvGeek Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I didn't see any Asian vehicles listed, very nice. My last vehicle was a 2011 Nissan Rogue SV. It was over 130k miles. It never let me down. I have never had a car not required almost nothing but the normal maintenance. If it wasn't for been total in accident in 2023. I'd still be driving her. Again thank you 👍

If they would stay with a proven engine and transmission . Restyle all you want and I think they would be more affordable. As it Stands now it would be a cold day in hell before I would or could buy one now.

Funny how I never see the Tesla Model Y in these lists. Of course, the Y has a 4-year/48,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and an 8-year/120,000-mile on the battery (to retain at least 70% of capacity) and motors. But it's such a bad car that is actually a GREAT car and the #1 selling car in the entire world (ICE and hybrids included) in 2023.

German cars to be driven as designed, Japanese cars are designed for the drivers habits, American cars are designed for producer profits and obsolescence.
