White people are obsessed to bring people of color down! He was always involved in street fights and was even boxing champion in his high school. So many high elite Karate fighters trained with him and did acknowledged his skill set. Wing Chun alone can not keep up with todays modern day fighting Systems. Bruce Lee always knew that, and did his part to improve it! For all the Bruce Lee critics read the Wrath of the Dragon by John Little.

Same amount of proof as izzo then. Where your legitimate footage, WHERE IS YOUR LEGITIMATE FOOTAGE??????? Izzo, Bruce did more for wing Chun than you ever did. The footage we have of you is getting sparked in the face by cruddy boxers. Wake tf up.

Sometimes, but not always. Kids can improve over years. Or months but, my son is a "brown belt" , but only became good after around green/blue. Or confident in his power and yeung ma. Patience is a virtue. People are going to listen to the latter part and take "never" as literal. And yeah, you're a dick, because something is better than nothing. And maybe its you thats the issue. Maybe youre the bad teacher and you are the failure. Are you a father? Have you sent your child to the local MA dojo? Probably not.

From a karateka, those Kyokushin mfs are a different breed. I know the point of this is that its the fighter, not the style. But I haven't seen a kyokushin dojo that wasn't about that action 😂

If you're being analytic did she utilize all of the elements to achieve the goal. A smaller, Weaker opponent CAN triumph but they must implement all the proper techniques while making few if any mistakes

Dude I get what you’re saying as far as not giving someone false hope. But in this situation there is honestly no harm in it. The dude isn’t trying to be the next Kung Fu Master or something and not claiming to be. It’s like me saying “You’re a fat ass old man, you can’t compete against anyone, so just pack your bags up and go lay down in the cemetery till God calls you home” lol I mean why even tell the guy that. It’s fine to be straight with someone and tell them because of their disability or whatever they are probably not going to be one of the top competitors. But there is absolutely nothing wrong in letting him practice….that and it’s incredibly illegal to prevent someone from being apart of your sport because of their disability….sooo..unless you want to get sued and look like a jerk, just let them practice. If anything it’s good for him to get some exercise and build some confidence.

Agree that sometime we need to say no but as far as the killer instinct part that’s just Not true. My oldest boy did jiu jitsu with me from 4-10 only competed once which ended with poor performance & a lot of crying. Had his mom’s sweet demeanor & was constantly trying to get him to “find his fire”. One day he got angry in practice & a switch flipped. He’s now an absolute terror & loves competing.

So well put ........no defense in Wing Chun...wing Chun is all attack.... standing within punching range throwing Taans or Bongs is not Wing Chun. .these videos are set up for pseudo Wing Chun Men , unskilled to fight skilled MMA guys....what you think will happen? Giving Wing Chun bad rep period....

I have no problem with those wokers. It's just the title of their sport that's off. Call it fitness boxing or something, and you're spot on. But boxing... as in BOXING... it's not a beautiful sport. It's a freaking brutal sport. But nonetheless, you do need to have a good mindset and all the coaches I've come across do emphasize that importance as to not create down right murderers LOL. So, my message to "the new generation of coaches" is to keep up with their watered-down boxing, but for heaven's sake, not call it BOXING 🤦

I been to so many different boxing gym and what those young trainers are so out of touch, most trainers understand not everyone is training to be a pro boxer, they always emphasize technique over everything, if your training a pro boxer than thete definitely have to be an element of “toughness” thats a different story

I used to watch guys get drunk, and do a lot of Slap boxing, then think they are doing something. Just a game, i was always told apply pressure when i was into Muay Thai. I think Bruce had Adhd, he would get angry, and frustrated , and stuck it in Wing Chun.

💯 Izzo it’s the fighter, I’m 50 now , exactly bro, I’m not gonna be able to roll about with a 26 yr old fighter simply because, like you say fitness, the sad thing As I’ve got to know you more , I’ve gained plenty of respect for you , cos you live in the real world , the mysticism stuff with martial arts spoils the reality that Wing Chun in The hands of some one that can fight can be effective, but it’s when you see an old master talking on a young fighter who’s in shape , well of course it’s gonna be more than likely a no contest which then makes something like wing Chun look bad ,I come from a line of fighters , my great grandad was a professional boxer, my grandad used to fight people at pubs for money , my Uncle was a Wing Chun instructor , myself a talented amateur boxer And UK junior army and REME champion, good work brother 💯💯💯🇬🇧

These martial art institutions need to be okay with failing people from getting there next belt until they are truly at that level. I'm a black belt but in reality i have the skill of like a blue, like mid level. In retrospective i should've failed some belt tests. I would've improved more that way
