Thanks guys. Judging by the comments I got lucky and didn’t watch a load of other useless videos before getting to this one. All I need now is to find the time to get this done…

What method did you use to remove the rear two screws from the motor assembly? Nothing seems to fit to give me space.

So im having an issue where my bike cut all power while I was riding home. Made it back, falsely determined it was the relay. Replaced it and power seems to be running to at least the dash more effectively, but it still won’t start. Where can I go from there?
@Dice_weissАй бұрын
Air fuel or spark are the typical culprits. Start with the simple things, check the battery for at least 12 volts, has gas, the fuel cut isn’t closed, check the spark plug. Is the bike turning over when you try to start it? Likely fuel or spark. Has the bike been sitting? The carburetor might be clogged. I found my bike wouldn’t start because the battery was essentially dead. Go on the forums and list your symptoms and see what you have in common with others. Has the wiring been altered? Could be a short or a corroded ground too. Check connections to the frame for corrosion, if it’s not clean, remove and grind down the metal on the terminal and and frame. There’s plenty of things to look for without knowing anything else about what’s going on

So how do you put the rain rail rubber thing in with the brackets? I put the rubber rail on the bottom of my soft top and put the rivets in and everything. I put the metal in but the washers won’t go on. Am I missing something?

2000 2.0 litre has a plug you screw off with your fingers, wiring loom is sortve in the way. Just spent 10 minutes looking for a screw face so i thought I'd spend 2 more to save someone else the confusion haha On the left hand side also, but on the side and not the very bottom face. I suggest parking on a slanted hill 🫡🇦🇺🪃

Those look pretty legit. The seat belt pass thru looks real. Sport model cushions are the right design with low profile seat cushion option look right. And the silver plates on the sides that has the bride logo on it, doesn’t look fake. The fake ones floating around look terrible. Really the only thing that throws these seats off is the carbon shell. Typically these cheaper sport versions are frp like the label states.
@jaketyler46927 ай бұрын
You just answered your own question! Sport models only came in "frp" 😂🤦♂️ If they were carbon or super aramid they wouldn't be classed as "sport"

This can all be done with the top on the car, you don't need to kneel on the floor. Plus you save a lot of unscrewing.
