Are there any capabilities in Excel for multiple regression analyzing: (1) more than a single variable in this same manner? and (2) exponential or logarithmic functions? If one is starting with data, but has no idea what form of equation would best suit the data, one doesn't know whether a polynomial fit will necessarily be the best. In my case, I have thermal property data (viscosity) as a function of temperature and solute concentration. The viscosity decreases with temperature, but not linearly, and seems to fit best exponentially. The viscosity increases with solute concentration, but not linearly. I want to find the equation that best describes the viscosity in terms of both temperature and concentration.

How to do a Multiple non linear Regression in excel?

I created a basic regression model for forecasting my company's gas demand forecast, in the UK. I used Met Office variables (Temp/Feels Like/Wind Speed/Wind Direction), as well as historic National Energy Usage data. It worked, although I had to update regularly. I don't suppose you have a good way to produce the same thing do you, which will be better and maybe simpler than mine, as I am no expert like you. Thanks.
