It's true that teledyne lecroy is processed at Siglent's factory, I think it uses the same board as Siglent because the board has their logo on it.

the coil is too low Q (too much loss in the wood), plastics like PEMD, PP, PS,Teflon are better materials for the coll, the less material contacting the wires the better. a round coil with proportion length 1x and diameter 1.55-1.67x is near ideal, a rule of thumb is no shorter than 1 to 1 and nl longef than 2 to 1. wire 1,2-1.6mm or thin multi strand litz wire (500 or more of #46-48 gauge ebaneled wire speciallh bundled), also be careful that the wires are not sanded so much that they short-circuit. keep wood and needless naterial about one coil diameter away from the coil. Q is always lower than the circuit component with the lowest Q. as you are trying to prevent energy loss adding any resistance in paralell just lower the rtotal, 1M ohm in parallel to a 1 ohm resistor is less than 1 ohm...

Good video but you did not say more basic tools that the person needs. You recommended mosty expensive tools! You forgot to say that if you need to learn simple calculations and buying a scientific calculator that they also need to learn how to read electronic signs and how to read diagrams. The multimeter, soldering iron, desoldering iron and soldering lead are the things you mosty use to create projects. You lack the explanation about these tools!

In the way of calculators, I feel like you should've mentioned Python and something like SciPY or Jupyter Lab. Python is the maybe the best graphing calculator I've seen. Yes, it's got a steeper learning curve, but once it's dialed in and you understand what makes it tick... :) Although, my Texas Instruments CAS is a close second... First? (shrug)

Thank you, I have this project I've been doing for a couple of weeks now trying to use a 10k resistor to allow my phone to run on a power supply instead of the battery. Research online mentioned I need a 10k resistor and I have resistors labeled 10k but when I place them, they only flicker the phone screen on and off, when I measure the resistance, it appears I am getting something like 10ohms or less than, I got these carbon resistors from the arduino kit, not sure what's happening here, but I'll have to look into parallel.

My dad use to make those radios all the time when we were kids, but he used a turner on his radio that had a knob, and he used a long wire Antenna. They work all the time.
