Atkinson should go, way to slow for this level and such a long time injured? Vyner, not good enough at this level, doesn’t read the game, never has a clue where his opponent is and consistently gives the ball away in dangerous positions. Conway would have had a better season if the club had got a big striker like Moore now on loan at Ipswich to partner him. He was basically left to play on his own which definitely didn’t suit his game.

Fair play to you Jack for being able to see the positives over an 11th place finish despite apparently having a top 6 squad!! For me, the club are selling out, it wasn’t so long ago that every club was claiming that football was nothing without their supporters off the back of the failed European Super League & then the pandemic & yet here we are, with the club making dodgy statements throughout the season. The ambition from the club seems to be a thing of the past, it looks like the hope is that we have a miracle like Ipswich & Luton rather than actually doing the work to see us significantly progress. The squad needs a fair few new incomings & if they could find takers for a few of our players then it would be much needed but there are doubts over us spending much money. Seems like Manning has asked for the club to show some ambition during the transfer window which they aren’t prepared to do so it looks very much like mid table mediocrity for the coming seasons. Bristol City no longer feels like my club & as a result I’ve not renewed, I’ve been going to games for well over 40 years but I’m not a customer so I seemingly don’t fit the demographic that the club want.
