So I’m a massive Beetlejuice fan from the original film. It was one of the first movies I’ve ever seen on VHS. I was born in 87… not to spoil anything but one of the reasons Winona Ryder seems off in that scene is because she’s allegedly a desperate paranormal investigator and the tv 📺 in the beginning is actually her paranormal show , but they imposed the Beetlejuice trailer onto the tv to make it fun, but in the movie that’s not what it’s going to be. apparently beetlejuice is exhausted from working constantly. Those are great ways to explain the smaller things that seemed off .. I do have to say that I was disappointed the original makeup artist for beetlejuice didn’t return for the new film due to scheduling issues , I would’ve loved to have seen her work bc it gives off costume in some scenes instead of actually beetlejuice. I will defend this movie to death lol I can’t wait. I love hearing the buzz about it though.. I feel like they missed the mark on casting Lydia’s daughter, I’m tired of Ortega , she’s in everything and I agree with whomever said it feels a bit more like Wednesday, instead of beetlejuice .. the original was gritty this feels polished

i actually heard from some test screenings they had for beetlejuice, and it's actually good news, they say it's so good and very Nostalgic.

I'm psyched for this movie, but I'm a little worried ... Keaton looks low-energy in these trailers ... and given his age, I'm not sure what we are going to get? Can he find the energy he had in the original movie?

'Beetlejuice' was a huge part of my childhood and I love Tim Burton so I really want this movie to do well. I think we really need a Tim Burton resurgence right now and with Wednesday doing so well, I think we may be there.

Regarding the second Beetlejuice trailer... I liked it, but do have some issues. Why is the shrunken head hunter guy, now a common thing with many shrunken head people? Feels like overkill for a tiny character that was really cool. Also, while the CGI is trying to match the stop motion claymation of the original, it still looks like bad CGI, at least at this point. Last, but, the trailer gives the impression that this won't have as much of the downright creepiness of the original film, even though that film had goofiness and ott slapstick moments too. Digital versus film might be another issue, but it was expected for a modern movie, as well as rehashing things from the original. Still excited to see Keaton and O'Hara and Ryder back, and for the set designs and so on, and for the Burton fun.

The main issue with movies is they're sequels prequels or reboots. Look at the 80s ,yes some sequels but by and large new ideas , franchises being born . Those movies had their inspirations behind them ,but new characters a new look at old genres.

I'm not judging too much yet but I don't know. Films shot on film stock really look and feel different to the digital look films have now.

I’m fully confident that this will be, at the bare minimum, really good. Wilem Defoe screaming at a shrunken headed Beetlejuice made me loose my shit. 😂

I got on our TV and my wife’s YT account was logged in, so I “liked” the video with her account, then switched over to mine to “like” again and watch. I know one or two “likes” aren’t that huge, but I just try to help and support where I can lol. Wish I had friends like you guys instead of boring “work” friends at 41 years old 😂, but whatevs. I have teenage kids that couldn’t care less about my toy collections, maybe someday they will. But the fact that my amazing wife supports my collecting and then watching you guys is all I need anymore, feels like I’m a part of something cool and special. So thank you guys for sharing with us!

Twister came out in 1996 alongside: Independence Day, Mission impossible, The Rock, Scream, From Dusk Till Dawn (Everybody be cool, YOU, Be cool), Trainspotting, Jerry Maguire and A Time to Kill. I felt the first movie moved TOO slow. Things flying 200 miles per hour cannot be seen. A tanker truck hanging in midair and giving a gentle push to BIll's RAM is not plausible.

The slasher genre and icons need to be brought back into the modern era not necessarily modernizing them but bringing them back into relevance if Halloween can do well nowadays I’m sure Friday the 13th can if written well maybe we’ll get one where Jason actually takes manhattan
