Running with an ASRock B450 Pro4 (NOT THE M) and bought the WD 850x 4TB for the second M.2 slot... only to figure out the dang thing is for SATA 3 M.2 and not NVME M.2... (Didn't know this was a difference, it's not made clear.) Regardless, question for this part... I've installed the NVME M.2 into it and still do not see it available in Device/Disk Management, nor on my BIOS... any idea for solutions anyone??

Before my laptop killed itself I was going to upgrade the ram because it had 2 slots (one extra). I had to buy a new laptop and found out that there was only one slot which was annoying.

The video does a great job explaining the basics of ECC memory and why it’s crucial for servers and big data centers. However, there’s a bit of confusion around DDR5’s on-die ECC. It’s true that DDR5 has on-die ECC to handle internal errors due to higher speeds and density, but it’s not the same as full ECC used in servers. On-die ECC helps with stability within the RAM chip, but it doesn’t correct errors in the data transfer between RAM and the CPU. For us average users, this means we get a bit more reliability, but not the full error correction benefits that server ECC provides. Still, any improvement is better than none, right?

at 7:55 you show the button being pressed with the power disconnected. The documentation does NOT give clear instructions on how to process the RAID set up - so I don't know if I have a bad system (trying to configure for a new set of HDDs) or if I am doing it wrong. Please advise or add a new video showing exactly how to set up/clear a configuration.

I like the idea that this is more of an adapter for the drive, as opposed to for the motherboard. It seems it would keep the drive quite safe when out of the machine as well. I have one question I haven't been able to find an answer for, if I'm using this on an older motherboard with PCIe 3.0 I know I won't get the full potential of the M.2 drive, but will I still get more speed than the SATA3 SSD I have now?

What the flip is wrong with you? So SHOW the sas drive connector so we can SEE for ourselves what they look like. You bable stats of no relevance but SHOW nothing to identify the drives you talk about.

Ddr4 and ddr5 have different pins. So, if your motherboard supports ddr4 then it CANNOT have ddr5 vice versa

Work with thier tech department they said my current unpowerd usb hub does not have enough power to support all 3 and recommended i get a powered usb hub. I did not even that was even a thing. With close to 5k reviews on amazon with 4.5 stars i think i am going to give this powered usb hub a try.

Can this run the Ethernet, HDMI, and at least two SSDs via USB 3.2 ports on a connected computers BUS power alone or does that require external power via the power-only USB -C port? I like the 85W PD, yet I want to know if I can use it on the go with the only power coming from my MacBook Pro’s battery

I cant seem to find the answer.
