Sarah beating the hell out of the Nurse was completely 100% real, as in a deleted scene he beats her, but the actor was being too gentle, and she was pissed because she wanted him to be rougher with her during shooting. So Linda literally beat the hell out of him in retaliation.

I don't know if anyone has said, but the significance of having a "00" in front of your number means "license to kill".

The movie accurately depicts the conditions in state hospitals in the 60s and 70s. The book was also a great read.

FROM WIKIPEDIA In 2001, The New York Times reported that John Wojtowicz (Sonny) was living on welfare in Brooklyn. He died of cancer on January 2, 2006, in his mother's home, aged 60...........Great movie. Wonderful reaction. Thanks for sharing.

If you haven't seen any of Eastwood's older Westerns, then I would argue that you will miss some of the poignancy of Unforgiven. In all his previous Westerns, he played very romanticized gun slingers. They were the heroes of the stories, with a dark side to be sure, but clearly the one everyone rooted for. In Unforgiven, he showed the despicable writer, who romanticized these killers in his books, and the amoral brutality of the actual gun slingers. It was almost as if Eastwood was sorta making amends for turning killers into heroes in his early career. I'm not saying Eastwood felt bad about his previous roles, but he definitely seemed to want to set the record straight about who men like this were in reality. That they weren't heroes but were, in truth, men of unbelievable villainy.

I’ve watched Vertigo several times, and each time of watching it, the number of plot twists and reveals still blows my mind! It’s so amazingly good in so many ways, I think I could write a short dissertation describing my thoughts about it 🔥🔥 Coby’s reactions to classic movies are just brilliant, love the astute and witty analysis, I’m already a big fan 🙌🙌🙌 Excellent reaction video! 🙏

Eddie Murphy had 4-5 funny movies after leaving SNL and had the world at his feet. Then he started acting strange in every role and did endless horrible unfunny movies. Sad.

The car he was driving is a Sunbeam Alpine, a British open two-seater sports car that later evolved into a more power version named the Sunbeam Tiger.

I was about 10 when I saw this in the movies when it was released and became a lifelong James Bond fan. I then read the novels written by Ian Fleming, all very good. It was Bond's Rolex watch that I coveted and eventually purchased for myself many years later, fulfilling a childhood ambition to eventually have one. My favorite movies are the first three: Dr. No, From Russia With Love and Goldfinger, my absolute favorite being the second one in the series which was From Russia With Love. Later movies in the franchise became silly and absurd, with too much emphasis on gadgets and devices.

Coming out of the water was recreated in Casino Royale, only it was Bond coming out of the water and objectified instead of the Bond girl.

Halle Berry did the water walk out with Pierce Bronson as a homage to that scene. It is an iconic scene, but I'm not sure how many other times its been referenced.

Nope. They killed off a character I have loved for forty-five years, just because he doesn't fit into the 'new world'. I have nothing but contempt for this movie.

Yep, you're correct-Austin Powers did spoof Dr. No with Dr. Evil and another Bond villain, Blofeld, who was always bald (who was finally disposed of in the beginning of For Your Eyes Only-also worth checking out). The man playing Felix in Dr. No is none other than Jack Lord better known as Steve McGarrett from the original Hawaii Five 0 TV series. The funny thing is the sunglasses he wears in Dr. No, he also wore in Hawaii Five 0 in the '70's.

When neo failed that super jump building test he didnt die because that wasnt the matrix. It was a program they constructed. The street he falls on after he fails to super jump breaks his fall like some sort of safety mechanism. It seemed springy like a trampoline or something.

The whole series is pretty great, I can recommend it. You mentioned political satire during the opening scene, for that one I can really recommend Duck Soup, a 1933 movie by the Marx Brothers and possibly their best. Mussolini banned it in Italy because he thought they where making fun of him. A lot of it is still surprisingly relevant too and the Marx Brothers influenced a lot of cartoons and comedy in general. A lot of humour in this movie is the kind of stuff they'd do too. And arguably they did even crazier things in real life. (Harpo Marx was once arrested for vagrancy, trespassing in a private home and impersonating himself while dressed as kaiser Wilhelm.)

The online and Blu-ray cut of the Matrix are barely different than the theatrical cut, which lingers on a few bullet hits. Also, I have a copy of Hugo Weaving’s shooting script. He marked all of the pauses in his delivery.
