I don't know if my comment appeared here, so I'm trying to comment again: thank you very much, Christopher! I've adapted your spreadsheet to use it with Casio CT-X 5000 keyboard in Brazilian churches and it's been very helpful.

The CT-X700 does not allow me to program the equaliser, but if you are only using the device's internal speakers, I find the "high base" or "loudness" setting optimal for these registrations. Also - and this is something I assume you will find out for yourself - some of the settings it is best for you to play one octave higher than you normally do (that is you yourself, not the keyboard). This allows you 1) to create a greater effect, and 2) fully exploit the split keyboard and pedal. An example of this are the registrations on my bank 2. I'm pleased the spreadsheet was useful to you.

great rich sound

thanks - sorry about the crappy recording. I brought along the wrong cable and consequently had to record from the laptop. That meant turning down the volume so it wouldn't distort. Unfortunately, doing that means you also hear the keys clashing as well.

Fair! Got the Casio keyboard Excel, really helpfull, thanks! May we have freespeech someday. Greetings from Brazil.

The cells that are coloured (in green) indicate "coupling". That is to say that when you choose the particular memory, they are "coupled" in from the moment you choose it. If they are not "coupled", you will have to press "split" or "level" yourself.

I will sometime towards the end of this month, but probably next, produce a new video. I have considerably improved the "organ" - so that it now has celestes and an "extension organ". Also a "flute" division.

Sorresia had civil twilight in December. Can we far down here in Bodo, Norway, there isn't a polar night at all. Only sunrise and sunset, Bodø, the sun is not visible in parts of the municipality from early December to early January.

Thank you for your videos on this topic and sharing registrations. I like your results very much and the idea itself of very affordable, budget friendly "organ" for home use. I have Casio CT-S400, which is very similar to CT-X700 (same tone list, sound engine and settings), but more compact (26 cm in depth against 35 cm of X700) and there is some space left in my room for something else. I plan to add a second affordable keyboard later to use it like a second manual, for instance, for Schwellwerk or Solo. Have you ever tried something like that?

As an organist myself, great realistic registrations I'd be interested to know what tones you used used to simulate the reed sounds? Thanks for sharing

It's actually better now. I am (promise) going to do another video of this - now that my "organ" also has a separate flute and also a separate strings section. It's just a matter of time. The reason the keys are audible is because I'm playing at greatly reduced volume in my flat. The microphone therefore picks up the sound of the keys, and they sound proportionally louder to the "organ" than they would if that were played at a more normal volume. The "registration" you will find by reading my replies here, and following the link to it. Although, as said, I have now improved this to include the two additional sections. I have also added a solo trumpet to the solo clarinet. Thanks for your comments. Be sure to check out (this too needs to be redone because of the echo on my voice - I am struggling to find the time) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n8p_pNlim9WxnWQ.htmlsi=dbTU8gvyOaFDiQwF

Thanks. It's even better now. I've added a "flute" section and a "solo organ". I have also added strings (Vox celeste) effect.
Thank you for sharing. Your video was the reason why i bought the x700 yesterday and also the initial glimmer for a new project of a small budget 2 layer organ plus bass pedal. I am happy for any ideas.

Sounds amazing. I didn't know these models were capable of such sound. Can you share the voice numbers you've used as a diapason and in the pedal? I'd totally want to try to recreate at least 50% of that richness.

I've been to the northernmost parts Scandanavia and polar nights were pretty fun until I realize how much I missed the sun.

I like that it's time stamped. That makes a huge difference because when I search for polar night images & videos it never tells what time of the day it is, so to me it looks like any other evening. I never know if it's 7am or 7pm. THANK YOU😊😊😊😊

In what city was this video recorded? Can we see some light even far north, like in Svalbarden? Thanks! :)
@organisten8 жыл бұрын
+Clara Gurjão It was recorded around the city of Finnsnes. I am very sorry, but if you are in Svalbard you won't see much light at all. You will get 24 hour darkness. But there's a sweetener - in the Summer half of the year you have the Midnight Sun much longer than we do.

You put your comment on one of my videos that had nothing to do with this.. so if it is hard to follow the thread..... Even so I should have thought you would have no problem finding my video just by going to my channel.
