Well done. The bill passed and went into law on July 7th. It's going to take DBPR and its Div or Condos some time to ramp up, but the new laws give me some hope. Enforcement will be key.

I am in Texas and the landlord exploits people price gouging rent 1brbm slum apartments for 1500 to 1800 and then evicts them he threats good tenants and we live in fear of a ruin rental history we live with bad electricity roaches he watches women through the windows we need help

All I heard - outside of the obligatory "of course we will require some affordable housing" - is that all renovations and investments seek to cater to the "incredibly affluent communities [nearby] that could view this as their downtown." More Miami playgrounds for the rich

None of the south miami residents want or like the higher rise bldgs!!! The new bldg going up where winn dixie is horrendously large and out of context w the “main street” vibe- STOP PANDERING to developers!! And we need more GREEN spaces- under the metro aint it mayor- thats BS.

Hi Ivy. He does understand and speak English as second language. However, he not only feels more comfortable answering in Spanish but feels his message gets lost in his translation. He wants his messages Clear accross to everyone. Hope you get to research Otaola before making your decision for our Miami Dade Mayor this August.
