That was pretty square to start with. Setting one up out of the box is more complicated.

I tend to watch videos on applications I haven't specifically done before, even if I have the entire process and FSM in front of me. This is ABSOLUTELY why,. Not only did you prove that the strut assy does not need to come out, the idea of adjusting the control arms to the "suspension loaded" position is just brilliant and I can use that in so many applications! Also, the stacking of the open wrenches to pry on is one of those things that I'm like "WHY didn't I think of that???" and I will be using that, right now!

Amazing work…and kudos on your solution solving brainwork. While an incredibly difficult project, I would love to give it a go. Do you have any measurements recorded?

You velly luky you no break plastic motor housing using that masif C clamp , you shud hav used a BIG screw driver to shove piston back in while sthil 😂 attached to car , My advice wood have been to spray yon WD STUFF 😂 around the flange of the disc and the hub unit to penetrate the corrosion for a couple of days before doing the job, THEN no need for the MASSIVE 56kilo hammer😂😂 but hay ho you got the job done and saved paying a garage bill 😊

Yes. There is a way to put the calipers into "service mode". They retract the pads so you don't destroy the drive gear by forcing it with a C Clamp. And, I'm quite sure when V.W. does a brake job, they don't cut the wire going to the EPB drive motor. I would google "V.W. rear brake service mode".

I wonder if you left the car ignition on and chuck the wheels so it doesn't role back especially if its on jacks and disengaged the electric parking hand brakes can you then depressed the caliper with out doing all the other extra work thats on videos 🤔

Your only supposed to lay it down on the spine. Thanks for doing this video. The name Grizzly and plastic parts just doesn’t fit. I am so glad you talked me out of this saw. I live near Grizzly in Springfield. I was just going to pick one up until I saw this. The aluminum fence reminds me of the Winn jointer I have. I hate the fence. Thank you.

Curious what you think of it now that you've owned it for a considerable amount of time? Also, pro tip, never wipe glue with a rag and remove from clamps after 2 hours and scrape the glue while it is still soft. Then set panel in a neutral place to dry overnight before final cleanup and processing. Done hundreds of panels this way.

I'm not a fan of the vertical panel gluing concept. Also overpriced in my opinion. I can build more pairs for that price with Fulton clamps and superstrut.

Hi, My EPB on rear left caliper is not engaging and I am going to replace the actuator. I guess I don't need to retract the piston or something like that right? as the parking brake is not activated so can I simply replace the actuator without any retraction and scan tool?

Sorry for an ignorant question, no criticism intended: why did you choose to use a 1 x stock for your fence? Instead of a 2 x piece? If a straight, parallel surface is important and often relied on w/radial arm saw cuts, I would think the thicker fence is important. Because you’re using it for the one operation, is that why you chose the one by? I’m trying to learn anything about these is why I ask.

Man you deserve a better gift for Christmas oh but 6 years ago hope you getting a Rolls Royce for 2023 Christmas man I am not joking it’s so nice to get a gift for Christmas where I never ever got a gift I always buy my wife and others gifts but all what I get back is a merry Christmas and a thank you we are middle class Americans I am on social security disability for 17 years and the wife doesn’t work she takes care of me . But I still work an hour or two a day as I’ve started remodeling my kitchen in April and not done yet need to build 6 dovetailed drawers and if I am lucky by the end of the year I am done . Could not afford home Depot to reface my kitchen for $24500.00 but so far I’ve spend maybe less than 5K including all my tools . Well merry Christmas when it comes . For a disabled 74 years old guy I am doing ok need to build a working bench for all my new tools . Cheets

A nice video! I tried to buy this today, but unfortunately no one store agreed to rip the package off and let me to try fix my small tile cutter on it (pretty similar with a circular saw). Can you tell me, if there is an option to fix tracks by a special clamps, please? I think it is essential for cutting porcelain tiles. Thank you

AFAIK the blade they ship with are not meant to be used. They are shipped with a blade and light tension and the blade is meant to be discarded, but I am not sure. I just read that one time.

The ruler on the bar is calibrated to the low cast iron fence *not* to the tall auxiliary removeable aluminum resaw fence, hence the reduced measurement between the latter and the blade. I have the 0513X2BF version, which is the same but has both pedal and electric brake.
