Great series, i thought you'd get overshadowed when France got in, but events and the political part of the game was pretty impactful. I'm getting the game even though it's quite pricy, with all the scenarios there seems to be a lot of variety in it.

Played this one today and the captives got killed 1 doom away from advancing the agenda.

How does the score card work for this map…? The writing of the rules are so confusing for this map. Is it always going to be under A edict? And is there max only one of the map related score card, can there be none…?

At approximately the 47:00 minute mark when you filled a temple sector, you resolve all effects under the temple. You resolved only the first one.

Thank you for this playthrough, I had no idea about this game. Do you think there is good replayability? I love the streamlined rules (which means it will get to the table often), but I'm worried I'll see what I need to see from the game after 5, 6, 7 plays.

Love it! Just one question, the sheet with the text "Number of players" and how many gates and monster can fit on the board, where are they from? I Just bought a used copy of arkham horror 2ed and a few expansions but did not find any.

43:55 while Defending the Empire is triggered (as is the case now), the Emperor and all its Enemies have free military access within the HRE. Austria would not have needed to spend the influence.

Thanks for this video series! Looks like you forgot a couple times to take gold when you placed the 3rd die in an attribute. There's so much to keep track of, so it's not surprising.

43:18 the town Sundgau in Rhineland would have been only 2 areas away from the enemy. this placement would and should have triggered a battle with Denmark.

34:32 because of the shared North Sea sea zone, Norway would qualify here as neighbouring Hamburg.

27:11you do not end up finishing this event option completely (flipping the marriage and granting the one mil power = bot power)

25:13 you spent a diplomatic power by putting it into your pool of military power :)

Great series, keep them coming! When you attack a NPR you don't get to roll your king's die unless you apoint him as leader (but you already have one). So you rolled an extra white die. Also, the npr will roll 3 dice even with only 2 units, but he can only asign 2 hits (you rolled 1 less die). Afterwards, when you siege 2 strength worth of provinces, you need to expend 2 military cubes (1 for the action and an extra one), paying only fir the units you need to use (2 infantry in this case), the rest of your units you don't need to pay for. And for the bots actions, when they are at war against objectives that have lost all their provinces (and armies), just consider the bot as"not at war" for everything but peace resolution.

Man, that rulebook is really bad. I bought this today as I had this and Concordia in my hands and was having trouble making a choice, but then I saw that the designer of Ginkgopolis was Xavier George ( designer of Carnegie, which I love) so I opted for Ginkgopolis. Opened the box, loved what I was seeing, then read the short rulebook and it actually gave me a headache. I know it’s a simple game but it seems a good bit of info was left out of the rules, leaving it to the buyer to play an additional, annoying, frustrating game of trying to interpret the rules. Thanks for the video as it helped eliminate a lot of the frustration.

I have to admit that you playing a 2 player game instead of solo is quite a redish flag. I've seen the solo rules video from the campaign and there are several things that are not used and I am not sure if the solo mode would be good enough. Have you played it?
