Hello! I bought a used 2016 st1. It runs but it has some issues. Help!!!!! Where do I get a new locking mechanism? Also my display sort of works! It turns on, some of the options work but it won’t register the speed and the display flickers. I can use the bike in different modes but that’s it. Any ideas! Thank you!

Hi thanks for the video explaining many accessories configuration to transport passengers. Can you tell the height get between the bottom of the Storm Box and the deck ? I wander if it is possible to put something in-between. Also can you make a video showing in detail the combination of the 72 Panniers and the Storm Shield? Tern wrote that this could bring enough protection for children but with an small opening.

Are there any regulations in UK against flashing lights in bikes? In Finland there isn't but that is just because it isn't either allowed or forbidden and there has been discussions about banning them.

Love the detailed breakdown of setup ...Do you think customer base would prefer this dimension of wheel rather than smaller gsd tern
@forwardselectric
@forwardselectric 3 ай бұрын
This is a great question and good reason for another video, which we have planned. The GSD is the perfect town and city car replacement, we've even done 100+ mile adventures on them while surfing the power modes. They really are exceptional cargo bikes for families or individuals that want to live a better life. They are really nippy and agile due to the wheel size, wheelbase and head angle. The Orox is a totally different beast. It needs to be set free in space and most defiantly wants to be off road. It’s a little big to get in and out of tight town and city spaces and those tyres make no sense on tarmac. It’s slower to respond to inputs due to the massive wheels and tyres, long wheelbase and slack head angle. They are both awesome but made for for different types of adventures.

@ivojanssens221
@ivojanssens221 9 ай бұрын
Sensor does not need cleaning. Don't believe Stromer. Stromer is the only one, of many manufacturers using this sensor, that has so many problems with the TMM. Stromer is also the only one where the sensor needs to be calibrated.... 1 +1 =2

We remove it and use a parts washer. A home mechanic could use a quick dry degreaser or brake cleaner. Use a tooth brush and a rag but be REALLY careful around the wiring. The wheel should be removed to get at the sensor easier. HTH

No issues really, we have needed to change a gear cable after only a short period of time as it snapped at the shifter. You just need to have the gears adjusted correctly and ease of the pedals while shifting. If you're in the market for a new Stromer and like the ST2 the Pinion is the one to get. www.forwardselectric.com/stromer-st2-pinion

I own a st2 with the sturmey archer for 8 months now and no issues with this. If it jerks when changing gear, you have to check the tension. This is very simple: Shift into second gear and then check on the hub that the two markings point exactly towards each other. If not, you can adjust the gears on the handlebars with the small adjustment wheel. Then it will run smoothly again. I have found that gear changes go better if you keep pedaling lightly.
