A clear demonstration of why Morrissey was so necessary for the band’s true excellence to manifest. The music here is fine but the vocals are super lackluster and makes the song become mediocre

I’ve watched this documentary about 10x in 2yrs. It’s such an inspirational piece of work and always sparks my brain with creativity! A perfect example of the creative process; from conception to experimentation, full of dedication

I think sticking with Gorilla and not Gorillaz would have been better. The z makes it less monumental.

When I drive my car calmly on an empty road or travel by a bus or train listening this album, I always feel like I'm going somewhere around the Tranquility Base Hotel, the Lunar Surface and the other places Arctic Monkeys established musically. This is really a world or "a place" you go with this songs.

The black “journalist” was such a great view of how pathetic the liberal media is where they will put words into the mouth of an artist, then even after being told they are wrong and have the wrong lyric, they still continue on, which is pathetic because she built an entire narrative around her own made up version and even though she was corrected she couldn’t take the truth because it kills the “big deal” she thought she had. Stupid

They seem to have so much fun with this project even if this isn’t how things are now with the band it shows how much they cared about making this the most out of box band out there and that’s what I love about this group!

Ironically I found Gorillaz through Jamie and only realised that it was Damon ages after I think mostly because I knew Jamie from his comic work and I am a lot more into art than music.
