This just happened to me! My serpentine belt partially snapped and took out a cam shaft sensor and the boot at the same time.

I put the 9.5 in my 09 460, had to drain 4.5 to 5qt out to get it to register right on the dipstick. Who knew

When I was importing cars from Japan (grey import) in to UK, for SVA test I had to install a restriction ring in the fuel filler tube to prevent the car being refuelled with diesel. Naturally, I moved this ring from car to car after each car had passed the SVA test. In fact in some ways the SVA was easier than the MOT. albeit more expensive. Happy days. You can get the lens off by heating, depending on what they are sealed with can need quite a lot of heat though , butyl seal comes off easier than PU type adhesives

Problem is I've found very often even if you get the outside sorted and there is no dirt inside there can be a lot of micro cracking crazing of the plastic. No way to get rid of that,. I've also never had any luck polishing the inside , there also seems to some sort of soft coat inside ( Anti-mist?)

It's is repairable it's not recommended to do so tho because it can blow out it weakens the structural integrity of the tyre because the side wall undergoss alot if stress a customer will take it and someone will do it tho 100% why dodgy techs everywhere

I would just have the client buy 2 primed fenders for $400, instead of all that labor, can get a pair for under $300 from CJ Pony Parts. Crazy doing all that labor, already doing him a giant favor, he can invest another 1-2 grand for replacement metal.

Yup definitely leaking. Needs new rim and tire. Also noticed the axle boot is split. Going to recommended replacing that also.
