Replaced my voltage regulater turn it over and pops the fuse. shows dead battery when plugged in so? Could the stator be my issue? Since i have a new regulator?
@richarddubord397821 күн бұрын
Yes it could be or a shorted wire

Nice work, but Cub Cadet = bad. Heat causes stator magnets to fall off. Really the engine got hot, surprise?

Man I get it. You just have to weigh if you will use it enough to justify the cost. For me, I live an hour away from the closest tire shop and have already used it probably 25 times just this year.

If you have some fabricating skills you can make this whole setup for 200$ total. It’s electrical conduit, 2” receiver tubing, 2 in square tubing to make the “arm” and then china special duck bill attached to either Pipe & pipe coupler or more square tubing. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pbafksib0czdZ5s.htmlsi=OTfRAtuNKhOaR4Fb

I wonder if HF will ever upgrade their bar to have that "duck head" on there. They used to have a motorcycle adapter for that but they stopped selling that. HF has upgraded a number of things, but the prices usually bounce up pretty good. I'm looking at welding up that adapter for the duck head.

Also .. Should I definitely pump out the mtf fluid before starting the clutch flywheel throw out swap .. When the axle shafts are removed I’ll lose the mtf fluid correct ??

Ive got a 2006 zx5 same exact motor and trans Can I ask a question? I’m also swapping out the master cylinder My question is regarding refilling the brake reservoir and what is the required way to bleed in the fluid The ford motor shop manual stated pumping 100 cc directly into the slave cylinder bleeder valve So back bleeding the system … is that the case?? Can’t I just refill the resiviour and pump the clutch In a standard system bleed bleed
@richarddubord39783 ай бұрын
These systems are unique and difficult. Back bleeding worked best for me. But we also did a ‘normal’ bleed afterwards to make sure all the air was out
@timsewell80493 ай бұрын
Could you explain in a step by step the process you’ve used to back bleed .. I’m going to clean the shared reservoir and will be changing both the master and slave , single plate flywheel ,and stage two Kevlar reinforced clutch as well as the pedal return spring … and I’m for-seeing two different problems .. one is the best recommendation to fill and bleed the whole shared system next is actually a likely worry that my slave cylinder throw out bering was overextending causing the seal to pop as the leakage from the bell housing base and the clutch engagement disengagement issues started at approximately after noticing my return spring had snapped .. so .. My plan to make a possible alteration to the clutch pedal by adding a pedal stop bolt to the pedal in order to make a manual adjustment to the amount of travel after clutch activates the reason being aftermarket parts are said to have some small variants in travel leading to slave cylinder overextending What are your thoughts ??
@timsewell80493 ай бұрын
I know that was a lot but my main question is what would be the preferred method to fill and bleed the complete shared brake and clutch system
@timsewell80493 ай бұрын
Honestly the ford shop manual doesn’t expand on this in a clear and direct manner I really don’t want to make a mistake and blow the new slave cylinder or end up with a situation that doesn’t work as good as new again ..
@timsewell80493 ай бұрын
Any advise to help basically filling and flushing the whole shared system ..

When you mentioned the ground for the headlights that snapped off, the terminated ground connection is made by the bolt. That's why it works despite the paint.

The bubble balancers was used on every vehicle I saw when I was a kid. What's the problem with using it today ? By the way I'm 78.
@richarddubord39784 ай бұрын
I think it’s because of the accuracy of the spin balancer and its ability to sense imbalance on both the inside and outside of the rim

Hey! Do you think this is possible without having to remove the subframe? I see a lot of videos of other model Ford Focus' but most of them don't have to deal with removing the subframe. @edashton1662 I'm not entirely sure, I got the car about 8 months ago and it's been running great with no lights on, I got a 2004 wrx STI with a full catless exhaust system. It feels pretty smooth and runs great even with the CEL on, I drove it from Denver to Idaho springs CO yesterday it's like a 40 minute drive It's worth mentioning I pumped some gas up in the mountains, also I didn't do any pulls or anything I was simply coasting at 3k RPM when the cel popped up, the cruise control also started flashing ( I have a detachable steering wheel ) the car feels great I just don't know what this dam code is all about
