So, they've built a friendship and relationships are built or should be built on friendship & a strong bond which it seems they.had prior to the proposal. So I mean it tracks. Good for them!

So hold up...I can't see how there was no attraction prior to whether they expressed it or not, there had to be some physical and mental attraction especially being friends first, which would make it easier to say yes or to even propose.
