SvR 2011 will always have a sour note in my heart, as The Hurricane has always been my favorite wrestler and that fact that he’s not playable but technically in 2 matches, one where you “team up” with him(Christian and Hurricane vs Hart Dynasty backstage) and in a challenge match in Rey’s RTWM means I just can’t forgive that game. SVR 2006 for the win.

Smackdown vs Raw 2008 was not THAT bad

Probably 08 for me JUST because they had Jeff Hardy , but even then his move set felt limited on the game.

If you were a wrestling fan only during the Monday Night Wars, then Shut Your Mouth and Here Comes The Pain were the best Smackdown games for you. Both games rosters were basically a combination of the biggest stars in WWE/WCW/ECW back in the late 90's early 2000's (plus Brock/Cena/Orton/Batista).

Yeah keep repeating what everybody says like a parrot. SVR 08 was not bad at all. I have played nearly all wwf and wwe games till date. N64, Dreamcast, PS. You name them. SVR 2008 and Here Comes The Pain were peak Yukes and wrestling games. Gm mode was the best. Even better than 07. And if season mode got repetitive is because you dont have imagination or cant simulate/game at all. I know the video is about roster, but people keep bitching about the game as if game was trash. It doesnt cost money to create your own Kurt Angle or Chris Benoit. I made Brock Lesnar, RVD, Eddie Guerrero, Big Show.

I stopped getting SvR in 2009 when they pulled GM mode

2008 could've really used a stacked legends roster. 2007 had enough stars to not need the stacked legends roster, but 2008 wouldn't even let you have a full 3 show gm mode with the base roster

06,07 generally my favorite. It was 11 and08 but they were really underwhelming I thought 11 coulda have been gm mode still especially with that roster. Adding ecw in 08 shudda been a game changer but not really

Only complaint I have about this video. Smackdown vs Raw 2007 is considered the greatest SVR in the franchise. Plus is one of the greastest wrestling games ever made.

The tag team roster in 2008 is a disgrace. No London and Kendrick. No cade and Murdoch.
