Unfortunately, I have been to a beach that crowded, during the July 4th week. It was awful. Now, I only go after the season ends. One year, I spent Thanksgiving at the beach. It was wonderful. No crowds and everything discounted. Heated indoor pool. Had seafood instead of turkey.😊

22:47 - There’s no other staff at the park to help because everyone else was evacuated on ships like the one we saw on the security camera earlier (the last one being the boat Nedry was trying to catch). They all left because of the storm. The tour was supposed to be finished before dark, but technical errors & Nedry’s sabotage meant the cars were stuck in place. All a bunch of variables that came together to make chaos. 🦖

the scene when they first see the long neck dino, still to this day gets me teary eyed. It is such a nostalgic scene for me, remembering as a kid seeing this film and believing that dinosaurs had actually been alive in our world. Such a wonderful scene. Will always have a place in my heart and memories.

Fun story, when I was little I loved Dinosaurs and my mom recorded this for me off the TV but stopped the film at all the parts where someone dies, It wasn't years later till I rewatched the tape and realized it made no sense and jumped around a lot, and characters just stopped showing up in the film for some reason.

Actually, I think it's because Ellie was incapable of baring children, because we never actually see her with a belly. I think they tried multiple times to get pregnant and went to the doctor to ask what was wrong and he probably told them that her body is incapable. I hear that it's a rare thing for some women, and so Ellie was so disappointed that she'll never have her own kids. Though, this does raise the question as to why they never adopted. but meh.

Father Karris was a bonus because he lost his faith! Regan, an innocent, living in the spotlight of a very public lifestyle in reach of Father Karris, was indeed convenient! The Demon attacks Notary Church Icons to upset the church's flock! The struggle is always the ultimate good vs evil, and the flock are just useful pawns!

FYI, the makeup and special makeup effects (the Merrin old age makeup , the pea soup projectile vomit, the turning head, et al) were created by the late great Dick Smith. Dick Smith through sharing his knowledge, personally, and via I believe two books, educated and inspired multiple generations of Makeup Effects Artist, such as Rick Baker (American Werewolf in London) Tom Savini, et al. As for the cold room scenes, the room really was the that cold, with four refrigeration units attached to the ceiling. It was so cold in that room, when Dick Smith prepped the contact lenses for Linda Blair they froze to his fingers.
