Why not adem?
@neuroradish2 ай бұрын
In the ddx, but not best answer. If I see enhancement and a little more swelling, then ADEM. ADEM can be occasionally large and confluent. But when they are, they tend to have some mass effect/edema.

could you recommend some books for learning imaging of congenital CNS anomalies ?
@neuroradish2 ай бұрын
"Pediatric Neuroimaging" by Barkovich is THE best all around text book for pediatric neuroradiology, including congenital anomalies. As a side note, an easy to read text book in general, "Fetal, Neonatal and Pediatric Neuroradiology by Kralik is a good one. Dr. Kralik is a personal friend, brilliant radiologist and wonderful person.
