Can HV Guests , use the Aqua park of Atlantica Aegean blue . From what i understood , both are next to each other , correct me if I'm wrong .. I used to go To Tui hotels in Antalya , where they would allow Guests from all the Tui hotels , to try the Sister hotel swimming pools

Hi there, as far as I am aware this is not the case. I stayed at Atlantica Aegean Blue in 2015, and HV guests were not permitted to use the waterpark facility of the AAB at that time. The HV does however have a castle with slides, so having fun in the aquatic area is definitely permitted!

Hi there, excellent video but as it is now 2 years old I can give my 2024 experience. I think the resort standards have slipped. It is not a 5 star hotel. House keeping and organisational standards have slipped. There are fundamental design flaws with the site. Putting the HV stage next to the main restaurant is terrible. You can't hear yourself think when eating. Food is poor and is basically a canteen. Having done HV Turkey last year this was disappointing.

How do you deem that a widebody is more "stable" than a narrowbody?

Due to the larger surface area of the wing, it is only natural that greater stability follows.

@realCessnaBroon That's somewhat of illusion. An average flight on a 737 is not necessarily perceptively less stable or smooth than on a say, a 747. In fact, the bigger the wing, the bugger the flaps, so when deployed, create more drag/turbulence, giving a "lumpier" ride when extended. But to say that a ride on a widebody is perceptively smoother than on a smaller jet is purely speculative. Mild, moderate, or severe turbulence feels pretty much the same on most planes. Case In point, the crosswind limit of an A320 is pretty much the same as an A330.

@@MODECHARLIE While this may be true, anecdotally, I have found it to not be the case - and prefer widebodies for this reason. I will look into doing a Too Much Information on the topic, gathering data to see if I can work out why it feels this way, but until then I shall have to wait and see why. ^C

How can it be too smooth but cause people to be ill? Surely the smoother the flight the better and surely it would have to be a very rocky landing to make people feel sick. When you say "it's a breath of fresh air", rather just a metaphor, you imply that people actually feel a rush of air. Is that right? I have read that it had an entertainment screen in the back of the seat but that doesn't appear to be present.

Sorry I was so slow to reply. I appreciate that my review methodology is a little unorthodox and not exactly scientific at times, but I like to focus my content output on providing an accurate picture to my viewers through my speech, as well as my visuals. In this case, like many others, my comment was simply imagery and not literal whatsoever. You are correct in stating that there are no seatback IFE screens onboard this fleet; there never has been, and most probably never will be. Jet2 is an ULCA, not a charter or a full-service, so it's probably not something you should expect. Thanks for the input! ^CB

Hi! Appreciate all your time and effort (and amazing knowledge) of the HV brand. We have just returned from HV Turkey again this year, having been to HV turkey x5, HV Rhodes x1 and Aliathon x1 - rating then in that order. I'm looking for a family holiday for 2024. Having been to Egypt previously as a couple and reading TA reviews, I'm reluctant to try the HV Egypt and considering either another HV(although non others than the three we've been, stand out) or another family holiday if you have any recommendations. My concerns around HV Egypt are: 1. The HV brand being diluted with it being a shared Coral Sea Holiday Resort also. 2. The mixed food quality and hygiene ratings. Pharaohs revenge rearing it's head on all our past Egypt holidays. 3. Mixed nationality guests - again non UK focused diluting the HV brand. Thanks in advance and hope you make more content soon.

I’ve just returned from Red Sea holiday village sharm el sheikh. I can’t speak highly of it. Highly recommend. One of the best holidays I’ve had in a long while.

The AirTanker cabin crew was only on that aircraft at the time, because it wasn't actually meant to be operating for LS at that time. Normally, it's just LS cabin crew.

When did you fly this flight/plane? I flew this 757 from Barcelona to Manchester a couple of weeks ago and wonder if you boarded the same plane after we disembarked. The captain even said, pre-flight, that we had an engineer on board. I was near the front of the plane and wanted to get a pic of the cockpit when we landed, but because we were on such a tight time frame (we had to drive over to Sheffield immediately after landing to play a festival), I didn't get a chance to see the cockpit. Either way, it was very exciting to be on a 757 again - it's been many years since I've been on one.

I've been watching the reviews of 8 airlines over the past year or so, and tracking their performance. In 2nd place? Singapore Airlines. 1st? Jet2, leading by some 30%. The airline's strongest strengths are the ground-staff and the way in which they cope with major glitches abroad. Good video.
