For those who are not familiar with it, the AI on the alien basically has two brains. There is one AI that is the creature itself, which is actively hunting you down and is limited to only what the Alien can perceive, while the other is a larger scale one, which basically just keeps track of things like where you and the alien are both located, and basically gives the alien "hints" to try to find you if it starts to get too far away from you. The latter's purpose is basically to heighten tension while also keeping the game fair enough that it's still playable.

Yeah the comics have been hit and miss. TV shows have been... Yup... But the games have been good so far

I've barely played it but it's fun for the time I've played it at my friends and just now got my own copy. I got my friend god and blue and helped him level up and it was fun but I do wish instead of just being teleported to Beerus world and doing 90 training missions that are just copy and paste it actually followed how super went if that makes sense

@@DudiReviews That's not easy to answer. I think AvP2 has probably the best story campaign, while AvP 2010 has the best gameplay. I know, many people disliked the hit-block-heavy hit mechanics but we gotta be real about one thing: It made a PvP with THREE completely different races and completely different maps somewhat balanced. Something, most games fail to do with only one race and almost identical maps. Even Colonial Marines was great for one single aspect: Hicks isn't dead. Isolation on the other hand....I could easily rant for three hours about that game and wouldn't even have reached the point why it's so absurd to hide from a Xenomorph in a damn locker. So...let's just not go there. :)

You really have to try Aliens Colonial Marines with TemplarGfX, it is to Isolation what the movie Aliens was to Alien.

This looks pretty good! My one worry for this is, that the game has been made too large with too many side quests and distractions available which will deter the player from actually completing the main campaign which im starting to find is Ubisofts trademark with open world games. I really enjoyed how you went through the details which have been revealed to you and hearing your thoughts! amazing work!

I disagree. The main story always trumps the side quests in assasins creed games. Especially valhalla the main story was wayy better than those quests

Polishing a turd here. A:CM was unmitigated garbage to the extent that I quit playing halfway through the campaign. It was simply atrocious. Being a big fan didn’t help one bit in my case. It was the first and last game that I ever pre-ordered from any company. Randy Pitchford needs to understand that his deceit and betrayal not only cost his own company profits, but those of the entire industry, as many like me would never trust any pre-order ever again after that, no matter who the publisher/developer was.

Must Stay I never Know why this Game was that Bad, from the Walkthroughs The Lore was good damn in that Years a lot of Fans Were Annoyed that two Fan Favourite Characters was Killed in a Disrespectful way (Hicks and Newt in Alien 3) and this Game Brought him Back (Hicks will always Be my Favourite Character in the Alien Saga angloside Newt,Bishop and Of Course Ellen Ripley) and I will Always love the Histories where they Come back; In videogames (Colonial Marines Here with Hicks) in Comics Form (The Earth War Trilogy and William Gibson Comic Treatment of alien 3) and Perhaps in the Future In A Movie (I doubt that but Who knows After all life is only one after All, maybe an Alien Anime?).

I just started playing this again. I really don't get how this is not the GREATEST war game. It has everything you want great combat, companions, sieges, nemesis system and the true feeling of playing like a bad ass. This is the game I play when I want to play as if I'm a main guy in a war movie. Excellent, excellent game. That could really do so much with this.

The Aliens did NOT survive the explosion per the Game Lore, these are "new" Aliens planted by WY. Game clearly points that out. Now the structures surviving is a flaw.

I got it for PS3 for $ 10.00. I think that I may have a newer version as the Alien AI seems correct to me. Aliens are a little easier to kill but they attack and swarm you which is I think, how they are supposed to act. I enjoyed the game. I don't think it is great but I don't think it belongs in the list of worse games like Action 52, Superman 64, Ghostbusters (NES), or the slop reviewed by the AVGN.

Have you played it in VR yet with the MotherVR mod that was based on the actual VR code in the game (they wanted to add it but scrapped it during development) Only thing you have to make sure of is that you turn off screenspace reflections as those don't work well in VR, but the entire game can be played in VR and it's one of the best but also most terrifying things I've ever experienced

You cant moan about too many aliens when the game exists in the wrong environment. If this was set on a alien infested planet it would make sense but we're talking about a planet where all the aliens from the first two films are already dead and all the aliens you fight are now created in the game itself. Exactly how many human incubators are we supposed to believe Weyland-Yutanii fed them?
