Great video. Word to the wise- these steps are likely good for most alternators, but if you are working on an AC Delco AKA Delcotron alternator NEVER use an impact gun to install the main hub nut. Doing so will distort the body and cause rubbing... I had a parts store fellow think he was doing me a favor by installing the nut on my replacement (when I only asked him to remove the old one). He handed me a fresh, but now broken alternator. I was stuck in that town for another 3 days while another unit was sourced. Thanks for sharing. Love those Pajeros- we own two 1990s with 6G72 here in the USA we call them Montero, because Pajero means something bad in Spanish slang. Cheers!

Got some 44" Toyo M/T on that fucker with Trailmaster suspension - The next step is for sure the exhaust, needs to have the muffler removed for sure! Would recommend you chip tune to stage 1. Even if your Paj has driven over 200k km the engine should be capable of handling the tune-up with ease, Japanese engines last forever - Channels and chassis, not as much. 😆

Hello, could you help me? I cannot remove the conical piece that goes along with the membrane in a 1999 Mitsubishi Montero. It is possible to remove the membrane nut and access the inside of the area to unclog the cone, the plunger, and raise it. up to restore order, the car works perfectly in low and high speeds, perhaps to recover when changing gears and going up, it's a little bit missing but the car works perfectly, it's great. @@PERTHSCOOTER07 Not yet because I'm waiting to get a membrane to be able to manipulate and spray. I hope this week to be able to open again to gently pull the diaphragm and clean it. The funny thing is that the car works perfectly although the diaphragm plunger does not move.

@@PERTHSCOOTER07 I believe that only the conical plunger is stuck, even though a mechanic has told me that the needle that enters the conical may also be blocked. @@PERTHSCOOTER07 Yes, it is possible, but I am confident that it is only the conical piston. In a few days, I will open the lid again and gently try to free it. Hi Great video mate, I am having a Boost issue with my Delica and I was wondering if you could know the solution, it seams that my waste-gate valve released all the boost , specially if I put my foot down or I am on a hill I only hear pshhhhhhhh and no power. Can I adjust that or I need a new turbo with a new waste-gate valve? Thanks in advance
@PERTHSCOOTER075 ай бұрын
It sounds like a boost leak. Most common issue is a split intercooler pipe. If it’s auto (which most are) get someone to put it in drive, left foot hard on the brake and slowing bring the revs up (just watch they don’t run you over) this will load the engine, start making boost and you can look/ listen to where it’s leaking.
@adtvchannel35 ай бұрын
thanks man, I will try that, I tried a smoke machine and I did not see any smoke coming out of any pipe , but I will do that and see where that pshhhh is coming from thanks @@PERTHSCOOTER07

Bring the owner of one along with two Yamaha trickskis I can confidently say you should never have to do that. You press the gas and it goes. These things are basically bullet proof if they are regularly serviced once a year and not abused to shit. The dude at the dealership even said if you have to take it apart it’s time for a new jet ski. Ours is pretty new but so far he’s right. Haven’t even serviced it once.
