I’ll planning to fertilize tomorrow as well, but we don’t have much rain in the forecast. I hope I don’t scare it all away!

I also watch farmer wants a wife. I thought your buddy from Colo. picked the wrong woman. I loved Mitch from Tenn. & the young lady he chose. They seemed perfect for each other. I wish they would go back a year later and see who is still together.

Hello! I just found your channel a week ago; I’m watching your older videos. Are you a Veterinarian? I like how you show the things that need to be done.
@HurricaneCreekFarmsКүн бұрын
Yes, my day job is a dog and cat vet. Glad to have you here!
@collinshomestead7688Күн бұрын
Thanks for the reply! I lived in Florida ( had horses- had the best vet ever- my Morgan show horse had a lot of problems) we moved to Alabama - my horses passed- now I’m doing cows. Herefords specifically. I went to a class to AI - been successful at that. I have an awesome vet here too! Love her! But we are so rural she can’t do farm calls. My biggest thing is castrating bull calves. I feel more comfortable banding- she says no- but I’ve never been taught ( the other way) what is your opinion and can you do a video on it? I’m a small cattle person- I have 25 cows- all have names and are tame. I’m just trying to do better.

Hello Bobby Lee! I don't know why but I wasn't notified new videos were up for the last 4 vids. Figured my settings had been changed but, when I checked, nothing had changed and still have the bell checked to receive all podcasts. Somehow KZfaq just wasn't notifying me.

That’s happened to some other folks, too. I’m not sure if it’s just a glitch or if they are trying to censor me (not really, at least I don’t think so). Thanks for letting me know

I was glad to see them beat UGA. Condon is great, but he and caglianone were the only two the media pushed for SEC POY. Meanwhile, Christian Moore wins the triple crown and is a total afterthought!

I’m sure glad Sundays game turned out better than Saturdays. Bats were hot on Sunday. Need to keep the momentum going!
@HurricaneCreekFarms4 күн бұрын
Yeah, I think the fans felt the pressure a lot more than the team. They know it’s a funny game and you won’t win them all. Need Beam to get right. He just hasn’t been quite himself lately. Would also be nice for Stamos to give us a solid 2 to 3 innings in his start. Bullpen has been really good.

did you ever find out what the lesions were on the calf?

I think everyone decided it was most likely that she simply got tangled in some wire. She looks to be fine now.

If you were going to lose one, right in front of the house is not a bad spot LOL. Storm clouds chased me all Saturday while baling, but got it done. (saved me from watching the beating the Vols took that day) but end result was good, Omaha bound!

Sitting at work watching the Vols on my phone, watching your video, watching the sunshine outside, thinking how I wish I was baling hay, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. Hope to get it baled tomorrow before the rain comes Saturday night into Sunday. This year seems like the rain is always chasing us LOL

We moved our only open heifers that we wanted to breed back home last month and they are running with the cowherd. Currently, we have all 3 bulls running with them, so he’s with them now.

That's what I was talking about helping/saving your cow. Who knows how long she had that infection and pain, and your monologuing was very long. A nice short intro and what you need to do should be efficient. And mister, you're a jerk.

Great start on the hay! Yes, yes I have "painted a horse's nails".... probably thousands of times. 😂 I bred and showed horses for years. I still have them and love them dearly but cattle are so much easier. And I'm too old to bounce back up after hitting the ground off a 17h warmlood. I just splat.
