I jumped to Text Field Design and Animation for a project I'm working on. Your explanation was super clear and easy to follow. It's the first time I've actually been able to fully understand default/hover states and I'm thrilled. Thanks for this video. I can't wait to watch more of your tutorials.

Great, helpful video One question - If I am using two 'Radio Buttons' for 2 selections, how can I make only 1 button show as filled in, selected, at a time? I currently have two buttons made like you instructed, but it allows both to be selected and filled in at one time which is confusing. Thank you!!
@BlueFinDesign
@BlueFinDesign Жыл бұрын
Glad you liked the video! One way you can create radio button components is you can add extra states for the number of options you wish to have and prototype them accordingly. Mockups have certain limitations. We can add a certain level of interaction but these are mainly for the stakeholders especially developers to understand how to build the UI. Hope it helps :)

Hey Nickel, Another great video! Thanks! I wanted to ask you what happens if there are multiple key players in the app. For example Job board - where we have job seekers and employers. Should we create 2 personas and 2 journey maps? Is there someplace where they both will be shown together and in which way they interact (user story, or something else)?
@BlueFinDesign
@BlueFinDesign Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Glad you liked the video :) Yes, it’s important to. Relate journey maps for every persona to demonstrate and understand their journeys through the application. Where their experience comes together is in the flowcharts or process diagrams that emphasize on the workflows rather than stakeholders.

Hello, great videos! You explain everything in a very clear and simple way. Thanks a lot :) I have some questions, I hope you don't mind: you said that the Journey Map is a visualization of the process the user goes through to complete their task. So if you want to redesign a service for example, would you use the process for the original service to see where the pain points are, or would you rather use the journey map for the already optimized process you designed to show how it improves the user experience or something? Can it be used for both? My other question is, would you say the user journey is a part of the customer journey? Sorry if my English is incorrect. Greetings from Portugal<3 :)
@BlueFinDesign
@BlueFinDesign 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching! I hope the video was helpful :) 1. You can use the process for the original service to create a journey map and then optimize that to improve the user experience. 2. The user journey of a website is part of the larger customer journey which may include, physical stores, services, etc.

Hey great question! I’ve been trying to achieve the same thing, but I guess there are some limitations to what design mock-ups can do. Playing and pausing playback is something that can be done after the design has been implemented. Hope you liked the video, and do subscribe to my channel :)

Do you know why I may not be able to keep my default state as 100% opacity while the hoover is 0%? When setting the hoover it's automatically making my default state 0%.
@BlueFinDesign
@BlueFinDesign 2 жыл бұрын
Hey hope you liked the video. To answer your question, if you change any property in the default state, unless it’s already overridden in the other states, all the states update that change in the property. Can you elaborate your question so I can understand your situation better ?

Hey, clean tutorial gg ! Is that possible to make the same but the animation "start" with the scroll of the mouse ? Like on the apple website -> at each notch of the scroll, it make tiny % of the animation ? Tysm
@BlueFinDesign
@BlueFinDesign 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video. I’m glad you liked it :) I believe Adobe Xd currently does not support mouse scroll interactions. So you’d have to work around it to create that effect.
@Tibiscuit_OW2
@Tibiscuit_OW2 2 жыл бұрын
@@BlueFinDesign Thanks for answer ! :) Do you have a software name which support this? Do you have an idea how to create it on Xd? I thought about the hover state on all the workplan, but it doesn't make exactly the same
@BlueFinDesign
@BlueFinDesign 2 жыл бұрын
I’ve not come across any application yet that supports this. Maybe they’ll add it soon 🤞🏻 One workaround you could try in Xd could be setting up keyboard interactions and the action to scroll to specific location on the same art board. But that wouldn’t exactly replicate the Apple interaction. Hopefully this helps :)

@@BlueFinDesign Yes thank you for this advice, I found some parralax effect video tutorial with this method, but I don't see how it is related to an interaction trigger while scrolling then?
@BlueFinDesign
@BlueFinDesign 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree. It would be difficult to exactly replicate the same effect, but you could try with Parallax and keyboard triggers to come close to it
