Simethicone infants gas relief also comes in liquid form. I give 1ml in a syringe once every hour for 3 hrs. Walmart sells Parents Choice infants Gas Relief drops..the cheapest I found.

Clever bunny, although it is completely normal for it to jump over a fence that’s extremely short to keep it in there! If your going to purchase an xpen(exercise pen, normally for dogs but can suit your rabbit!) make sure it’s well over 2ft! Best option would be a 36inch or over/3ft or over height!

My rabbit has gi stasis. I took her to the vet yesterday. They gave my rabbit vaccination..still he is not eating just drinking water. Today also i took her to the vet they gave him the vaccine. Its been two days he is not eating anything and just drinking water. I have tried massages and i think he likes it buy still he is not eating anything. I am very scared as the doctor has not prescribed any medicines only vaccinations and i can't see movements. He is just laying and drinks in few hours. I have no money to buy critical care. What to do???

One of the main problems we have is it trying to find a vet after hours. A good exotic vet is hard to find we have to make it 3-hour trip if we need somebody after hours or on weekends. Remember the rules with rabbits hey hey hey.

They can definitely live together (chickens and ducks anyway) and you can even use a hen to hatch and rear ducklings. If you do use a broody hen to hatch the ducks, though, you can never, ever keep the ducks raised that way with the mother that raised them once they reach adulthood.

If you heat your razor up with a lighter it will go through the plastic smoothly without cracks, but then you have the plastic smell. I did this outside. This is a great idea my other hay bin was too small

We started our homestead about 5 years ago and got our first sheep (Katahdins) about 3 years ago. We have a small flock about 6 ewes and a ram we keep on about 4 plus acres. Absolutely love them and lambing season while stressful is the most exciting time of the year.

Hello, the bunnies have far to less space. They like to run and play and jump. It's so sad that they have to live their life on grid and for sure that's not good for their feet. A bunny ist as playful and fast as cats. Would you let a cat live like that? They need a friend and enough space to be happy. Please overthink your way. I have rescued bunnies for ten years now and there is nothing like happy bunnies running and playing with pure joy for life❤

We definitely have kept pet rabbits inside in dog exercise pens when we’ve been able to do that, but in a breeding operation like we have now where we have several rabbits and not enough space inside for them all, we find this barn setup is the best thing for their hygiene and well being in an outdoor cage situation. And like we said in the video, we give them the biggest dog crates we can find and give them areas to get off the wire if they want to be! But I do agree if you have a bunny or two as pets, free roaming them or having them in a pen indoors is a great way to raise them! ☺️

I’ve been planning on keeping my rabbit in a colony, and figuring out how to collect. Maynor is something that’s on my mind. That’s another product that we can solve from the Homestead. I don’t want to ignore that income.

*Thank you for sharing :)! About raw milk cheese, you should check what kind of rennet is used - whether animal or vegetable. And if vegetable - what kind? GMO or non GMO? Because according to the American Cheese Society, most cheese is made with GMO vegetable rennet. Nourish Co-op has an article about it in their blog that you can read.*

AN IMPORTANT TIP I WANT TO SHARE WITH ALL BUNNY OWNERS! When our bunny was 2 years old he developed GI stasis. The emergency vet told us to give him a small serving of fresh pineapple everyday -- not canned or dried, but fresh. He explained that fresh pineapple contains the enzyme bromelain, which would help break down fur that rabbits ingest from grooming. We followed his instructions. Our beloved bunny passed away at 13, and in all those years never got GI stasis again.
