Just found the channel. I have been watching less than 30 minutes total, and I love that you use big box store tools that every day (like my family) people use. Makes it authentic and feels like the projects are doable. We used your video yesterday on a build and it worked nicely 👌 Thanks. Love the flag as well

Having to watch a basically interesting video on MUTE because the KZfaqr chooses to drown everything in too loud and terrible music is a reason to NOT watch any more videos of this channel. And: 👎👎 for same reason. Is this a 'thing' for guys who want to show how cool and tough they are? 🤔

Question: Did you stick magnet to magnet or did you stick magnet to washer? It looks like you're going magnet to magnet and the dude from "I Like To Make Stuff" went magnet to washer. I think magnet to magnet would hold better, provided polarities are correct.

I did magnet to magnet.

GREAT VIDEO, DEMO AND SIMPLE BUT VITAL EXPLANATION. THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!!!! QUESTION......DEPENDING ON WHAT SPACING IS REQUIRED ON THE TOP WHEN INSTALLING THE RAIL. LETS SAY IT CAN BE BETWEEN 1 3/8 -1 3/4 BUT THE THICKNESS OF THE DOOR IS ONLY 1 1/4 ....CAN YOU JUST RUN A BOARD ON THE TOP (BACKSIDE) WITH A THICKNESS THAT WOULD FALL IN THE REQUIRED RANGE. ??? THANK YOU AGAIN

Id agree with the dude below!!! You overkill the lag bolts but then proceed to use pocket screws for the rest lol wtf??? Im sure its strong enough for what youre going to use it for though!

Thanks. I imagine you could dilute the wool/vinegar to desired lightness with more vinegar? 🤔
@GadgetsandGrain2 ай бұрын
Interesting idea. I wonder if the diluting liquid (if it’s not vinegar) would interact with the solution. What are you thinking?

HOW DO YOU MAKE NEW CCA TREATED WOOD LOOK OLD AND WEATHERED?
@human48054 ай бұрын
After messing around with soo many techniques, iv found simply using black & a little blue water based craft paint diluted to desired grey works best. Don't try and store these mixes for more than a week as they sour sitting around. Unless you like your wood & shop reaking of rotten eggs..

Good video. I like the notes and the minimal voiceover. To many people don’t realize they need to shut the &#$@ up after they say what they need to say. Subbed.

Kreg discontinued that pocket hole jig. Just picked one up in stock from Infinity Tool. The problem with this design is you can’t use 8’ of the wall to the left of your rack in order to access plywood. Most people’s garage walls are already busy

I've watched many of these vinegar and steel wool videos. I did not wash my steel wool or boil my vinegar and my solution did not change one bit. My steel wool was older but not open. My vinegar was new. I will try washing my steel and heat my vinegar. I would enjoy any comments from others. Thanks for your test.

i think i got it. you only temporarily attached the first 2x4 then drilled for the lag screws to go into the studs. missed that. with no drywall, would you suggest using 3.5” lag screws? i have some pretty big pieces of wood to store, 2x12s and 4x6 and 4x4
@janetrandle68829 ай бұрын
what did you mean when you said you “timberly attached” the first 2x4 to the wall studs? i my garage has no drywall so the studs are exposed

Hey as a producer who has spent a LOT of money on graphics for various shows I have to say your masking tape sharpie title solution is absolutely perfect and genius. It's on theme, analog (like woodworking) and does the job cheap with stuff you already have. You need to get your IQ checked you are a MENSA candidate, love it.
