How about matte paints? Do you need the mirror glaze?

Why not just add a switching jack? When nothing is plugged into it, the signal will go to the internal speaker. When a speaker cable is plugged into it, the signal will be routed to it, and onto the external cabinet. No need for a manual "internal/external" switch.

Great video. If I have two separate vintage tower speakers, how would I make them both Bluetooth so they can play at the the same time?

My old Fender Concert has a worn 18ga 3 prong cord. I can only find either a 16ga-3 or a 14ga-3 replacement cord. Does it matter which gauge I use?

yeah why you took those cd's without using aol is pretty weird, but AOL is dead so just throw them away, you're worrying about literally garbage. they're only usful if your stranded on an island and you need it to signal ships for S.O.S. like that tom hanks movie

A for me, seemed more open, fuller, like a full range speaker, hard to put in words.

Nice guitar, just wish you would have given the same attention to close up camera work attaching the strings to the eyelets, but good job on the guitar. Really, very nice.

do you still have to sand it if it’s a diy kit that comes without paint?

According to the schematics of a pre-built pick guard I saw on amazon, the 4 screws around the pickups are 3.7" apart. So I was thinking of just securing that part to a 2x4 and just letting the other parts and the pick guard hang off. If I really need to maybe wood glue and extra piece of 2x4 to the side of the 2x4 to make a small section that is 8x2. Or use some extra sheet of hard plastic sheet. Is shorting an electric guitar with your body painful?

Hi. Could I ask more about the measurement? 1. What does the negatives (e.g -1, -9) in the measurement represent? 2. What would the measurement be if my rails are 6U? 3. If the rails are 24.5 inch, shouldn't the height be 25 inch? Thanks for taking the time to read my answer and I am attempting to make a 6U one for myself but I am a little lost and I need more guidance on this one. Hope to hear from you. Thanks and forgive me.

Sir, that was an amazing build on a stunning guitar! I enjoyed your craftsmanship and your artistic talent at every aspect. I loved how you incorporated hand tools into your work so well. The instrument itself sounds and looks outstanding!

I noticed you were going more between A and B and not giving the same time to C so I’m not joining in, why do you have to plug into other things , it should be just into the amp so it’s not an accurate test?

it's close but to my ears there is too much top end loss on the hardware r2r. As someone mentioned, adding a bit more top before printing to tape could help. Overall I prefer the plugin.

In the case of your loose pancake connector, there used to be an old standard knot that is called a fire underwriter's knot, which was supposed to be used by electricians in lamps to provide strain relief and isolate the strain from the electrical connection, avoiding shorts when the cable is pulled, which makes the fire underwriter (fire insurance company) happy kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gtRmeL2Xm9XOcmg.htmlsi=Cm1g4jL7KqGPR2-P

Excellent comparison and especially since you're using the same guitar for all! I just bought a 2015 Martin hd28v and want to have a pickup installed in it. My thoughts on the A B and C. (Journeytek, k&k and mic) I like the mic best for all applications. For me, A is best for fingerpicking and B for strumming. I'm thinking after watching this excellent video that I will use a good mic. Can I use my Sure SM58 for my guitar until I get a good guitar mic?
@fuzzyfuzzwuzАй бұрын
FANTASTIC comparison - this takes a lot of work to install the same pickup on the same guitar to do a comp. We appreciate it! Funny enough, I liked the K&K a lot better. However, I'm listening on proper speakers with balanced bass response so maybe I'm hearing more than others.

Been looking to build one of these. Def using this as a starting point for one (I only have a few racks, so I want a shelf underneath for my LPs, put turntable on top).
