If anyone was wondering.. when i bought the car a few months ago I deleted all the keys right away and wondered why didn't tesla delete them prior to me receiving the car? Weird... You'd think they would have done a factory reset kinda thing on the car soon as they got it...
@Metaphysicalgrace863 ай бұрын
Why on earth did you buy this used? The batteries are only good for 10 years. Takes tons and tons of earth moved using desil to make the batteries. After 7 years of use they'll finally break even with what was used in emissions to create them That leaves you with 3 years max of actually being " energy efficient " . Yall got played sooooooo hard its ridiculous. You just funded SpaceX and the purchase of Twitter. That's it. All that environmental stuff is you getting duped 😂.

It’s a Tesla, if they wanted to they could have it repo itself no humans involved they don’t need a key 😂 shit like this is why I will never own a modern vehicle. No amount of bells and whistles is worth the theft potential and potential for invasion of privacy. BMW has monthly subscription based heated seats, it won’t be long until your car kicks your ass out on the side of the road and drives back to the dealership the instant your payment is overdue.

Shouldn't you open the bleeder screw before pushing the piston back? This way you don't push any contaminates back through you ABS system. You then close the bleeder screw as soon as you are finished pushing the piston back, so you don't have to bleed the brakes. Check your brake fluid level when done. You should also replace your brake fluid every 3 years.
@shavedpenquin Жыл бұрын
Maybe…. I’ve just never done it that way. Works great.
@charlespelletier9621 Жыл бұрын
Dude, you don't have to remove the caliper to compress the pistons. Use a large screwdriver or pry bar with old pads in. Also don't use a torque wrench to break bolts free. Thays how you ruin a torque wrench
@shavedpenquin Жыл бұрын
That would work but you risk damaging your rotor or the piston, I think its just too risky personally… I’d just prefer to take the caliper off… No torque wrench was used in this video…

made it look pretty simple, Thank the engineers at Lexus for not making the pads difficult to access. The only thing I would recommend is using a brake pad spreader vs a c-clamp, it provides more uniform pressure. Thanks for video.

I’ve heard that it’s recommended to open the reservoir under the hood before compressing the pistons. What do you think?
@shavedpenquin Жыл бұрын
Honestly never heard of that before. But I’m not a mechanic either.
@shavedpenquin Жыл бұрын
Issue was servos are 6.6V I had more than that in the system but the high speed high torque servos used more than the system could handle at any one moment. Therefore stealing power from the receiver which then made the servos "freak out" more, which took more power from the receiver starting the process over again. Replaced with a liFe battery 3000 mA pack which seems to solve the problem.
