Hi there great video. If I want to add my lipo 2s, is there any changes I need to make with the electronics? Or is it as simple as just adding a 2s lipo with a T-plug?

A bit late to the party, but you steering link are reversed, the offset toward the wheels should be toward the front of the car.

I honestly don't understand how this mod would help.. literally the same just upside down? How exactly does this make any difference? I've seen video's but not real explanation how it actually changes anything... just that it helps. Lol

Thank you for posting your video! I’m preparing to build my B7 and I have upgrades coming in to install from the start. Regarding the battery/esc connectors….do we have to buy and solder the connectors into the esc wires to connect into a protek battery?

Did you end up with leftover bearings? I have no idea where 2 of them are supposed to go lol they are strange ones not like the rest in the kit..... Maybe they are for the B7d kit?..

You have the carpet kit, yeah? The two small spare bearings go into the dirt kit diff. They just give both kits the same bearing bag.

Recently swapped to an aluminum bellcrank and it had so much play in it. Didnt realise i was missing so many washers. Youre one of the only videos to point out the washers properly when installing the new setup so thank you

I was interested in adding one of these to mine, but here in the UK the upgrade costs £114 (with a discount); considering the entire chassis kit costs £469 (same store), that's almost 25% of the cost of the entire chassis, just in this small upgrade part. Crazy.

Which speed controller do you use? Which would you recommend for 17.5 motor thanks

I use the Hobbywing XR10 Stock Spec ESC - amzn.to/42mWhBz Reasons I like it for 17.5 Motors: Higher amps compared to their Justock ESC More tuning options Small form factor Reasonably priced Another option I would recommend would be the Hobbywing XR10 Pro Elite - amzn.to/49i0PL2 More tuning options Can handle more powerful motors if you ever decided to run MOD, but I'm not sure it's the best value for 17.5 I can't tell the difference between the two when driving (I would consider myself an intermediate racer). A more experienced racer may notice the difference, but I just can't justify the cost difference ($100+) for my 17.5 buggy.

Good comprehensive video. I like that you constantly remind people concerning hand tightning the screws. I just picked up a new 2WD Slash on a trade and ordered the chassis lowering kit and sway bar set. Being I didn't actually pay anything for the Slash, I am free to upgrade. I have already ordered an after market Brushless set up for the conversion . I have the same set up in a Bandit and Stampede. Good job on the video.

You can actually use the b6.4 servo mount it fits perfect I no some racers took there servo mount from the b6.4 there using that it has no affect of geometry steering of the new designed buggy I thought I mentioned that great video 😁👍

I still have my old Mk 1 gold tub RC10 somewhere... along with several cutdown tubs, about 30 sets of wheels, more tyres than you can get in a dustbin, about 9 sets of shocks, and in the region of 20 different motors. God I used to love Thursday night indoor racing, seeing everything from ankles broken, to the core of a battery take someone's glass out of their hand, hair getting caught in gear trains and tyres burning people's skin... those were the days of wintergreen and small fires. I bought an RC10 B4 in about 2004, played with it a little looking to get back into racing then life took over and I haven't touched one since, it's good to see that the sport is still going (in America at least) I will have to have a look into the scene again in the UK.
