Got an opinel nr7, my fishing tacklebox would not be the same without it! 10/10 would buy it again!!

Afghans were originally (sometimes still are) wool blankets. Afghani men were them in the mountians and sleep with them as a blanket at night. Good luck finding a *real* wool one online, though, No one seems to tell the truth anymore and no government agencies force them to.

What i do is clean 2-3 times with saddle soap, then apply 1-2 coats of the oil waiting 24 hours between coats, then i put 1 coat of the wax, with in 8 hours you will be able to tell if you applied too much wax. If you did just use your hand and rub the wax to heat it up the wip the excess off with a rag. Another good trick is after applying the wax is put your boots on a peet boot dryer for a few hours the wax will soak in faster.

You can make a small (1 1/2 inch) loop out of paracord and tie it through the belt clip on the Comp HD. Then pull it over the butt-end of your knife when it's in the sheath. Knife's not going anywhere. Easy to make, easy to deploy. Some of the many Mora mods are part of the fun of owning the things. There's a cottage industry in how-to on this subject.

Chopsticks were my first whittling project! They came out so well, I gifted my best ones! I used pieces of firewood (pine I think) that was at the campsite in the deep woods! It was the most relaxing thing ever!! Whittling in the woods!! Best therapy ever!!

I had recently forgotten how to tie a Kalmyk loop which turns out to be VERY similar to how you tied this. The Kalmyk loop btw, is a fixed loop knot and you might accidentally tie it instead of this if you mess up and vice versa.

I was thinking about making a clamp broach so there are no holes from a pin. A golf ball may be too large, but a marble is too small. I'll find a pretty stone along the river. Good video, well done. Thanks for the refresher course. I needed this, thank you.

I've carried a Fieldmaster for 11 years now. I've hiked back several miles to retrieve it, it's survived many falls, and a few swims. But it's been with me through thick and thin. love that little knife! I need to get the scales replaced on it, and I snapped one of the flathead screwdriver/ bottle opener tools off of it.

first thing - make the loops in the cord for the clove hitch & hold the cord between yor teeth, then wrap the blanket, adjusts the hood, make the folds, place the button stone. . . finally, take the cord from between your teeth & finish the knot. easy-peasy

SMH Turn one very large stick into fuel for a fire you start using a knife and a ferro rod. Definitely not what I was expecting. Why even waste your time to do that when you're in the middle of the woods with loads of kindling and firewood?
