32:37 We engineered our ExpeditionVehicle with zero cabinets above waist-level. This reduces weight aloft, increasing the sense of stability.

30:42 I think the air-gap slows air exchange. The Hypalon™ (or 'CSM" for Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene Rubber) curtains contain the stationary air, forming a boundary layer. . 2003, we insulated our ExpeditionVehicle with: * adhesive-back acoustic against the wall and ceiling, a gap, then * one-inch pink-board, another air-gap, then * two-inch poly. . With our tiny dual-pane windows (designed for a stand-still house), we rarely operate the Wave 3 catalytic heater above about 40°f/5°c.
@largemarge1603
@largemarge1603 Күн бұрын
29:09 2003, we built our ExpeditionVehicle. Our concept is 'primitive'. Zero plumbing, minimal electric. Nothing to break or wear. . Of course, we missed out on color-coordinated blue boxes. Sadly, our non-existent blue boxes cannot 'talk to each other'...

27:42 Our ExpeditionVehicle interior is three paces across by seven paces long, about 600cf/17cubic meters(metres). "But but but LM!, how do you live in such a tiny space!" We do not live in our rig. We live out of ii.

One of the key critical items not mentioned for a flatbed is the custom swing bracket to clear the width of the flatbed for the jacks which typically is almost a foot needed on each side. I would be interested to find out where you bought and came up with that?
@thecumminscamper
@thecumminscamper 2 күн бұрын
Our brackets are stock dually brackets. Those typically are found on bigger, heavier campers that would require a dually to carry one of these safely. For a more narrow camper you could use a couple pieces of steel plating and drill holes in them. We used to have a dually with oversized aftermarket wheels so I built a couple extra wide dually brackets out of steel plates. You can see our custom brackets in the video we did about swapping our camper from our old 3500 to our current 5500.

@@thecumminscamper Thank You. I'll check it out. I hope since my flatbed is 8' 6" wide I could come up with a solution, since I'd like to put a small lance camper that is only 7'6"" from the inside of both jacks without a hinge swing.

Are you not allowed to film because your channel makes money? National parks are public spaces and you’re allowed to film in public spaces.
@thecumminscamper
@thecumminscamper 8 күн бұрын
So I learned after this video, filming for a monetized YT channel in a NP is allowed. For a period of time there was a weird regulation put in place where you weren’t supposed to film for commercial purposes without a permit. Then after the park service got inundated with permit requests they revised the rules to where the permits only necessary if you have a multi person crew. If it’s just normal people filming for YT, you can do that all you want. It did make for a fun change of how I had to try and create a video worth watching.

The fish will hang out in the Eddie’s or very close the the streams edge to conserve energy and wait for food the pass in 5be current, then dart out and grab it. It is a great scenario if your bait doesn’t look too natural. They don’t have time to look at it!
