You did a good thing by trying to help him. But, l think he is not wanting to help himself and thrives on people's pity for him and gets things for nothing. Do not give up being kind because of Greg. It takes all types of people to make a world but what you did was impressive, it came from your heart

Road rage including traffic violations in Russia are worse than the Philippines . Most Russian drivers have low IQ. Drunk driving is rampant there.

Maybe because English is not his primary language, what he probably means is lazy, not necessarily stupid. He is just saying that since the Philippines only has one season (hot), there is no need for many of us to think far ahead in the future because everything is always grows and is available. Unlike in other countries where there is winter (very cold) like Russia, people tend to think far ahead and save for the lean months or else they will go hungry because nothing grows or is harvested during winter.

his real opinion and unbiased comments towards us are eye opening, he says 'SOME' of us are 'SOMETIMES' doing stupid things towards him maybe some Filipinos are took advantage to him, very understandable for a Slavic person as he experience minimal sunlight exposure, a majority of people who are unwelcome, introverts and shy and even smiling on public would put you in big trouble if you smile on a stranger. factors why they are different are vitamin D deficiency that helps brain health. don't you worry bro still your comment won't harm anyone and our arms wide open for you anytime you depart and come back

A lot of what he said makes sense, but a lot of Filipino food is not healthier. So many of the items over there were deep fried, extremely oily, and contained very fatty meats. I wasn't a big fan of the food there. I much prefer the food where I live in Vietnam. Lets talk to him again though, when he's been living abroad for 10 or 15 years like I have. I originally said I'd never have a car over here, but I eventually realized the dangers of always being on a motorbike. Now we have a cheap car. We dont spend 3 grand a month, but my wife and I do spend a lot more than we used to. However, I chose my partner wisely. She makes about the same salary as I do.

I agree that Malaysia is wonderful. It's just a shame that it's government has changed its mind on how open it wants to be, when it comes to retirees. The changes to the MM2H visa program is disgraceful. They took the retiree money for so many years and it helped the country prosper. Now, they're getting greedy and are changing the rules to exclude mid and low income retirees. By quadrupling the monthly income minimum to $10,000, they are sending the message that they want the wealthy. Screw em! There are plenty of countries in the world that offer a great lifestyle without this nonsense.

I was married to a Filipina for 39 years. Now that she is gone, I have been considering moving to the Philippines. I am 75 years old and a little bit nervous, but I think it would be a great place to live. I was stationed in the Philippines in the Vietnam era, and have been to the Philippines many times during my marriage (last time 2022). I have been surrounded by more Filipino's than Americans for a long time and think I could get along quite well there.

Russians they are little stupid too when it comes to english words- well language barrier😁... but they can be blatantly brutally sincere of their thoughts.... I love russians ❤they tell you honestly what you need to know.. If only all people think like russians..When they say its "NO"it means "No" then if it is *YES* they mean *YES* .... then the world will be fool proof... better world ❤❤❤

I have a question for old expats: you are impotents, why do you have the desire to lick like crazy these girls? Why don't you get a penile implant like Phill in the Philippines and be a man again instead of a vagina cleaner? Seriously, are you so naive or what?

Welcome to Malaysia! How are you doing since the last time that I saw you in Cebu? I honestly think judging from the above-mentioned video that you appear to have found a fairly good apartment in Kuala Lumpur. I arrived in Malaysia days ago as well, and speaking from experience good quality, and affordable accommodation in Kuala Lumpur can be a huge challenge.

Thank you for this interview. It’s a difficult situation for this man. I hope he finds the support he needs. He said he is an electrical engineer. Many worldwide construction companies and power plants etc need electrical engineers. It's very impressive he is an electrical engineer. I wonder if there might be deeper challenges he’s facing beyond just financial ones. Is it legal to actually hold one against their will in a hospital if they can't afford to pay the bill, or pay the bill on time payments? That's using a hospital like a jail!

He was delightful to listen to, articulate , easy to undrrstand, interesting and still,learning it seems ! boom boom but not b/f, g/f as yet ! that was new to me too !, just one point when I said he was articulate and easy to understand, he talked with pauses, not fast ), you talked so fast after interview ! just slow it or take pauses and people will have a better listening experience, but you asked some good questions and let him do the talking, withouty interupting, good one !

I also enjoyed visiting the Manila Philippines in 2016, yes most Filipinos are friendly, lovely people. But don't forget no place is perfect, and the crime rate is high in some cities (maybe not every city of course). You do have to be careful in Manila, if you're hosted by locals they will give you the right advice to keep you safe (and away from the more dangerous areas).

Wow so much you have done! I hope now this farmer on that other island will be a stepping stone as from there he could go on to do electrical engineering work somewhere in the world and not dogtrotting around for someone, something that meets his unique educational and trained background in such a specialized profession that I imagine must be in high need in the world.

I think what he really meant was that many Filipinos don't plan life way in advance and are more carefree ("stupid" was not the correct or most accurate word) because there's no long, cold, winter season to warrant it, unlike in Russia- if you don't plan for the winter, you could be cold, starving, even no longer alive after winter!
@teresal5174
@teresal5174 Күн бұрын
That was a very misleading blurb you put at the beginning as clickbait. Terrible. I don't think your Russian interviewee meant "stupid" as we think he intended because his grasp of English is very limited and everything else he otherwise said about the Phils. was positive! Not a good edit, just my 2 cents.

Filipinas push for marriage from the very start and that’s why most of them fail. You just can’t marry anyone without a deep meaningful mutually supportive and trusting relationship and a willingness to put in the hard work to maintain one
